  1. Colin Morikawa finally misses a cut.
  2. Glasgow finished yesterday, probably why the park was rammed on Wednesday night.
  3. Robert McIntyre bags a US Open spot after the exemption list was expanded to include the top 70 (from 60) in the OWGR at March 15th, this is down to there being no local qualifiers being held.
  4. Listened to the McKellar Golf podcast from last week with Mark Canizarro of the New York post as the guest, he was questioning how DeChambeau managed to bulk up so quickly. He didn't say it, but the hint was it wasn't all down to just doing some weights.
  5. Tbh, I don't even think we have anything as high tech as this in place.
  6. Seems Ricky Elliott has now tested negative in a follow up test.
  7. Still got about half a pint. I'd take that at the moment.
  8. Make that 4, Brooks Koepka also sitting this one out after his caddy Ricky Elliott tested positive. The PGA Tour had always expected to get some positive tests, but I'm not sure they would have thought they would get 4 in 6 days.
  9. Wondered how long it would take for a caddy to test positive, reports from Hilton Head last week were that the caddies were meeting up for dinner and a couple of beers in the evenings like they normally would. Add to that that South Carolina are still getting around 1000 new cases a day, and that nobody was giving a shit about social distancing, then it was always on the cards imo.
  10. Don't think so, they had already said they had tested everybody that Watney had come into contact with and all were negative.
  11. Strike 2 on the PGA Tour as Cameron Champ withdraws from the Travelers Championship after returning a positive test for Covid19 during the pre tournament screening. 2nd player in the last 6 or 7 days to test positive.
  12. As a parent of a teenager moving into S3, blended learning long term would be a disaster. My daughter is capable of doing far more than she has managed during lockdown, a classroom is the best setting for her. The assumption is that kids all have the facilities at home to do the work, when that is definitely not the case where we live, in an area which still has a huge number of kids living in deprivation. One of her close friends has no access to a pc or tablet, so has been trying to do work using just her phone. Schooling is not a level playing field for all the children at the best of times, the gap between the haves and the have nots would become even larger if home schooling was to be a long term plan.
  13. Cameron Champ withdraws from the Travelers Championship after returning a positive test for Covid19 during the pre tournament screening.
  14. Me too, I really hope somebody has that hanging on their wall and hasn't noticed the pictures.
  15. So you don't think anything has changed over the last week? We have gone from having no chance of opening normally and Swinney hinting blended* learning could be in place for a year, to hopefully opening as normal? That's a huge change in 7 days imo, and even yesterday there was not a glimmer that anything other than part time attendance for pupils was on the cards. *Autocorrect initially changed that to bellend, I was tempted just to leave it.
  16. 4, Coric, Dmitrov and Troicki all tested positive before him. I wonder what could have helped to cause that?
  17. Got to hand it to Djokovic, he had said he would never get vaccinated against Covid19, but going for the herd immunity approach was a brave call.
  18. Reports on the radio this morning that Boris will announce today that cinemas, museums and art galleries in England can open from 4th July.
  19. Autocorrect tends to change things to the words you use most often. Go figure.
  20. I would guess that Sky would be among the first to know, movingvit back to odd numbered years means it would no longer clash with the Olympics.
