  1. It's amazing how you can rack up the strokes without realising. I made it to the turn in 42 early in the season in one competition, following week I felt I was playing ok but when I totted up the score on the 10th tee I had hit 53.
  2. NFL Sundays. Missy has no interest in them at all.
  3. I've said since the start of the season that he would be gone by new year, but if results keep going the way they are he will be gone even sooner. He's undoubtedly inherited an utter shambles of a squad, but I don't think he is even getting the best out of what he has.
  4. I did not have high expectations for this game, and it hasn't even met them up til now. Glad Newcastle got a goal first, if it had been Utd they would probably have managed to shitfest an undeserved 1-0 out of it.
  5. Jon Rahm wins the Spanish Open, his 5th European Tour win in 39 starts. It took Seve 49 starts to win 5 events. It also puts Rahm on top of the Race to Dubai rankings. Callum Hill was tied 17th for another tidy paycheck.
  6. My missus moans about some of the mugs being stained at the bottom. This is the same daft bugger who never finishes a mug of tea, and leaves the dregs in the bottom and never rinses it out. Despite the connection between these two things being pointed out to her on regular occasions, she still does it.
  7. If you hit a 68, you lost ground on most of the field.
  8. Some effort by Tonga to give France a scare at the end, final score 23-21 to France.
  9. Ooft. Sore one. It's a fkn stupid game anyway. Kudos for playing the full 18 btw, can't understand folk who chuck it just because they are carding a bad score.
  10. Toronto Wolfpack win promotion to the Super League after a 24-6 win over Featherstone Rovers in the Million Pound game. They were 6-4 down at half time but a strong second half saw them go one better than last year, they'll replace London Broncos who they lost to in last year's play-off.
  11. The opposite view from Glasgow's director of education, who says it's "completely and utterly unacceptable" that any child is sent home for not wearing the correct uniform. https://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/news/17949064.calls-made-citywide-school-uniform-policy-rolled-glasgow/
  12. Surprising news that Kieran Read's no arms tackle against Canada has not been deemed worthy of even a review by the citing commissioner. I for one am stunned.
  13. Jon Rahm certainly pushed things along at the top of the leaderboard today with a 63 to move to 17 under, 5 clear of second place. There's a Scot tied 12th but I'm not mentioning names in case I jinx him as usual.
  14. No, they've been packing down with 7 most of the time.
  15. Not surprising really given they are a man short.
  16. Argentina really don't help themselves, that try kills the game but England got up the park thanks to an utterly needless penalty by the Argies. They had a good rolling maul going in England's half then one of the forwards gives away an obvious penalty. England have been utterly unconvincing, but will still win this at a canter. Farrell's kicking has been awful, which is nice.
  17. I really can't see how they could single out just one of the two Italians for the tip tackle this morning, both players looked equally culpable. Just catching up with the highlights just now.
  18. Week 1 - Eagles and Seahawks. Week 2 - Bills and Patriots Week 3 - Packers and Cowboys Week 4 - Rams and Chiefs Week 5 - Ravens and Bears
  19. Obviously players missing on WC duty, but those 2 performances give me the fear for when the next lot of internationals come around. I know it happens every year, but those 2 performances were nowhere near what previous squads were capable of during international windows.
  20. Dismal stuff. Will be a struggle to get any league points before the international players return based on the two showings so far.
  21. Kevin Na's caddy Kenny Harms was wearing this cap last night during the first round of the Shriner's Open.
  22. French hammer thrower (track and field, not football) Quentin Bigot.
