Anyone know the likely venues for Croatia and Portugal? Or when the venues will be confirmed?

They have up until 120 days before to announce but a lot of FAs ignore the rule.

Croatia is anyone's guess, of their last 10 competitive games 2 have been Zagreb, 3 Osijek, 4 Split and 1 Rijeka. The stadium in Zagreb was damaged back in 2020 by an earthquake but their last competitive match was there so I'm not sure if that means they've sorted it out as the majority of their games were played in Zagreb before that.  Portugal is about 90% going to be in Lisbon or Porto based on their recent competitive games but they do like to move the occasional game and played Spain in Braga.

Can you remember how much the match package was last year for the North Stand? I can’t get logged onto the website to check. I appreciate we‘re in with the big boys now but I don’t recall it being that much.

I have a great seat in the North Stand I’d hate to give up but £35 for two friendlies and I can’t make the Portugal game anyway is making me think twice.

£125 East/West and £150 North/South for the 2023 package which was 4 competitive games plus England so it's went up £25 and 2 of the 5 are friendlies.

  3. League C
Group 1 - Sweden, Azerbaijan, Slovakia, Estonia,
    Group 2 - Romania, Kosovo, Cyprus, Lithuania/Gibraltar
Group 3 - Luxembourg, Bulgaria, N. Ireland, Belarus
Group 4-  Armenia, Faroe Islands, N. Macedonia, Latvia

    League D
    Group 1 - Lithuania/Gibraltar, San Marino, Liechtenstein
Group 2 - Moldova, Malta, Andorra

  4. Slightly less mention of this than normal due to the fact we've got a Euros in Germany to win but the draw is on Thursday and we're League A for the first time so thought it was worth a thread.

Draw is on Thursday at 5pm UK time and live on UEFA.com. Format has changed this year with top 2 from the group going into the Nations League quarter finals, 3rd going into a playoff with 2nd placed teams from League B for promotion/relegation and 4th being relegated.

    I’ve got another train question.

I’m booked on Eurostar back from Brussels on the day after the Hungary - to get there I’ve to travel from Stuttgart to Frankfurt on the ICE which requires a seat reservation.  I assume those reservations are not yet available to buy yet cos there seem to be none available…. Anyone any ideas?

Select 'Book seat only'  You'll get a seat reservation for 4.90 euro.

To use ICE trains you don't need a seat reservation unless it's some condition of your Eurostar ticket but I imagine most trains from Stuttgart the day after the game will be mobbed so it might be worth it.

I'd much rather pay the extra for ICE over Flix though in most cases.  29.90 is an absolute bargain for an ICE train especially when travelling more than 3 hours you really feel the difference.

This plus with Flix running only a couple of services a day on most lines (and only one on others) if you really need to be somewhere by a certain time like a game at the Euros then I'd avoid Flix like the plague. It's fine if everything goes right, you're properly fucked if it doesn't. At least with Deutsche Bahn not being the most reliable there's enough trains that if one is cancelled you aren't stranded for the day.
