    I'm not really sure about the overwhelmingly positive reaction to a signing who hasn't hit any form for his last 2 clubs on the basis he was good for us years ago but I suppose it at least decreases the chances of shoehorning centre midfielders into the team out wide. It probably fucks the 3-5-2 theory though as he's nothing other than a winger and we still have Tiffoney unless he's sold this summer.

    Why do you place so much faith in the FIFA rankings that in the space of an hour you've went from saying we need to punch well above our weight to finish second to now it would be a real failure if we don't? Has the Ireland squad got worse in that time?

    The whole booking a player for celebrating like that seems to be something that refs in Scotland are really strict on which just doesn't seem to get punished with the same regularity elsewhere. Similarly you can confidently predict if you'll get a ton of added time or not on a lot of occasions based on where the ref is from.

    Is it not head to head before goal difference as a tiebreaker since it's a UEFA competition? If so it would seem unlikely running up the score v Armenia is going to matter too much unless it's to avoid relegation.

    It's a loan from Rangers, McCall doesn't give a f**k if they're good or not. Kennedy and Maxwell would be the 11th and 12th loans from Rangers in just under 3 years.
