  1. Don't tempt fate. The forum has been mercifully free from these fucking pathetic clowns tonight.
  2. He wasn't being offered a new contract at the end of the season, so JG said it was only fair, particularly in the current climate, to give him a chance to sort out his long term future. I'd rather he hadn't gone to a team in our league, but shit happens.
  3. Anything in the grapevine about this? Or is it just based on his absence and poor performances?
  4. McGrath is the best penalty taker I've ever seen, bar Ian Scanlon. Albeit Scanlon's penalties, from fading memories, were a lot less subtle.
  5. Dream on. You're good, at present, but not that good. If you were you'd have put three or four past us yesterday.
  6. You could play one at the back and we would struggle to score.
  7. I was baffled when the talk of teams that would be involved in a relegation battle a few weeks ago, didn't seem to involve us. If we continue with our current level of performances, we'll be in an even worse position than we are just now. We can't score goals as we have no creativity whatsoever. Even the commentary team mentioned it yesterday when we had five up front.
  8. We can see that. The management however................................
  9. Jack ross was great for us at championship level. The two seasons of the "great escape" and our championship winning season were fantastic. However, there were indications at times, that if plan A didn't work, there wasn't really a plan B.
  10. Jaden Brown targeted by St Mirren as Jim Goodwin launches bid to sign Huddersfield defender - Daily Record Mason's injury must be worse than we thought. JADEN BROWN ENJOYING REWARDS OF HARD WORK - News - Huddersfield Town (htafc.com)
  11. Fantastic performance from The Fakes. Got a wee bit of good fortune with Hibs shite finishing, but once you scored it looked like there was only going to be one winner.
  12. Good to see Brown showing solidarity for his manager by matching him in behaving like a complete fanny.
  13. It's only fair that our good friends (Hibs) send someone our way for a change.
  14. JDH out for 4-6 weeks. Collin has some medial ligament damage, but not too severe. St Mirren manager Jim Goodwin provides Jake Doyle-Hayes update ahead of Hampden showdown - Not The Old Firm
  15. St.Mirren aren't asking anyone to pay their fine. Reading not your strong point?
  16. McGrath has been ploughing a lone furrow all season. He's definitely a player, but he needs someone playing next to him, who fits my description in my earlier post IMO.
  17. With JDH and MacPherson suspended, JG's hand might be forced in that direction. We've been stumbling towards today's defeat for a couple of weeks now. In our last three games you'll be lucky if we've created chances approaching double figures for our strikers, despite having had "creative" players like McGrath, Connolly, McAllister and Durmus on the pitch. They all have their moments, but we lack a midfielder who is capable of taking the game by the scruff of the neck, linking back to forward and running directly at defences through the middle. Our midfielders couldn't beat an egg, never mind beat anyone on their way to setting up a chance for our forwards.
  18. As I mentioned last week, we are crying out for a creative midfielder.
