  1. He fits right in with the Daily Record reader demographic tbh.......
  2. I'll get Peter Jones from Heyrod to beat you up at the next Concrete Awards!
  3. Really?! Supporting Aberdeen sounds shite if the whole basis of you support is: Drive to ground -> Watch game -> Drive home I'd be amazed if that was the true percentage of fans that travel by car. Tynecastle and Easter Road are such good days out for home and away fans for the very reasons I gave previously. When I lived in Glasgow and traveled through to Tynecastle by car the day was far less enjoyable.
  4. So 45% usually make a day of it (like many away fans) by enjoying both what the City centre has to offer i.e: pubs, bar lunches etc before walking down to Pittodrie. Now they'll have to factor in a 30-60min each way shuttle bus journey out to the new stadium.
  5. Set fire to the c**t then boot him in the baws.
  6. I've no doubt that the new stadium will be a perfectly good facility for Aberdeen FC.......It's the transport links and surrounding amenities that will be done in a typically half arsed manner that will see it become the McDiarmid Park of the North. I've lost count of the number of times I've met up pre-match with Saints supporting mates (hardcore fans that kept their Club alive in the 80's) in Perth with the intention of travelling the 3+miles up the Crieff Road only to stay in the pub instead.
  7. Its for the best. Carbon footprints and all that....
  8. ^^^hasn't seen the video of Nic Cage being pegged by his now estranged wife.......
  9. This whole C.A.S.T thing is confusing. I have a car but cycle to work and own a property in Perthshire........where do I stand in your grand scheme of things @PB 4.2?
  10. ^^^Horrific under18s Club Photos Thread for this pish!
  11. Why doesn't it happen enough at present then?
  12. It won't, they'll still end up getting released by Celtic and Rangers* at the same 19-22 age bracket as present leading to a number of them to lose heart and faith in the game.
  13. I don't really blame the OF* for trying this, it's the fact the SFA and numerous Club chairmen are so willing to bend over to accommodate them!
  14. I think there's an element of that in it. It would certainly suit the SFAs agenda if they did find someplace that would take them.
  15. The opposite happens in reality. Numerous youngsters drift out of the game entirely after being released by the big Clubs. This is down to the numbers game Clubs are playing with regards to youth development.
  16. The very reason Celtic want the Colts in L2 is so they can have control of what system their players are being played in. They'd get this playing in a reserve league (along with the fundimental benefits to developing youth players) alongside and against better more experienced players.
  17. No. Not for a team of kids it doesn't. Read and think about my post as a whole. Or perhaps something like a league for Premiership teams that they can play their reserve 1st team players with a few youth team player.........they could call it "the reserve league"
  18. It won't. Young players would develop more if they were playing with and against better, more experienced players. A Reserve league would benefit their progress far better than lobbing a youth team in against 10 other part time teams........whilst fucking up the integrity and enjoyment of the league at the same time.
  19. The fact the vast majority of them had to leave Celtic (with little or no 1st team experience I may add) somewhat renders the request for "credit" null and void. Too many Clubs take the "frog spawn" approach to youth development as opposed to concentrating on few, more select youngster that genuinely have a chance of making it at their Club. Celtic aren't alone in this.
  20. How is that even possible?! Seriously? How on earth did you fail it?
  21. Should have told him Heyrods are always looking for concrete finishers........
