  1. Perhaps they should and perhaps you should start a thread where we can debate and then perhaps you can stop deflecting?
  2. I’m trying to understand the logic here. Because IRA songs are clearly worse than the existence of plastic pitches does this somehow mean plastic football pitches in top tier professional football aren’t worthy of debate because some clowns want to sing about the IRA?
  3. Because it’s a really stupid question that you already know the answer to, clearly bigotry is a bigger issue. So much for none of “them” every answering eh?
  4. As an FYI the first team train on grass at Lennoxtown, if I remember correctly all but 1 are grass.
  5. Do you have an example of reconstruction or a move to improve the game to discuss?
  6. Kyogo wants to run in behind, it’s his movement that makes him dangerous however he’s having to drop too deep. The tactics currently don’t suit him and he’s trying to adapt, we either need to play a little more directly or employ a no 10 to help him. I thinks he’s also suffering from the fact we don’t have Jota, Abada or Maeda either
  7. The wrecking ball analogy is a bit over the top considering there hasn’t been a season since Rodgers first took over that we haven’t won the league from this amount of points after 17 games. We are also without 4 or 5 players that were key to Anges success. Where I agree with you is Anges signings were bought to fit a system and he isn’t getting the best out of them tactically, Kyogo being the perfect example Genuinely never thought I would miss big Starfelt however here we are
  8. Emptied after loosing 1 match? We have only been on 42 points after 17 games 3 times since 2016/17, once with Rodgers, one with Lenny and one with Ange. We aren’t playing well however no need for knicker wetting
  9. I think it started for us with Larsson and the Magnificent Seven.
  10. Yes it was played a bit during our invincible season, I always thought that’s why Rangers retorted during the Covid season.
  11. We spend more than enough we just don’t spend it very well sometimes
  12. Celtic fans haven’t been happy with the board for a long, long time. We might be rich but we don’t spend in a way that sees us improve so we yo-yo between being almost untouchable domestically to doing just enough to win the league all whilst falling flat in Europe. There is a glass ceiling the board just won’t push through however it’s plain to see to anyone with eyes that aren’t painted on our recruitment this season so far has been pish, utterly pish so it will be interesting to see what we do in January especially with the Asian Cup happening. We won’t win every game and Killie is a place where we do come unstuck from time to time however today we just got battered. We didn’t go undefeated in the league in the last 2 seasons and there was no way we were doing it this season, the bigger surprise is that it took till December.
  13. Not a huge surprise today considering how poor we have looked recently and that Killie already done us in the cup. Our defence is utterly honking however Killie done what most clubs are too frightened to and showed us absolutely f**k all respect. Got to admire that
  14. From the current crop just Butland, he’s the only one that would improve on what we have. From years gone by it’s has to be Gascoigne, at his peak he was bona fide world class.
  15. It’s a funny take considering they wish to hold onto their history for dear life. If a simple change of tournament format and name resets the history of a competition then is it only titles won since 98/99 that count now in Scotland? That 55 now becomes what 8?
  16. 14th on the all time list of most matches won ahead of Inter Milan mate also 14th on the list of most goals scored again ahead of Inter. We have won more games in the competition than we have lost unlike yourselves
  17. This competition has been running since the 50’s so no mate we are not unless ofc you are suggesting the refresh and change of name makes it an entirely new competition and that the European Cup is now dead? But that would open up a can of worms considering the history of the competition remains intact and it is indeed the same trophy handed out
  18. Then it doesn’t really matter who we visited then as your irrational hatred of Celtic will cause you to be triggered by anything we do but if you honestly think Brendan Rodgers when he knew he was going to Rome thought “I know what will rile the people and play to the basest sectarian element of our support…..I’ll take the lads to visit tha Pope. No one will care that countless sports teams do this, the people will lose their shit and the lunatics will build me a statue and that will stir up sectarian tension cause I fucking love that shit” then you are a bigger clown than I ever took you for. Don’t get me wrong I’d much rather they were on the plane back home after getting put out of Europe rather than go on a jolly to the Vatican as the result matters much much more to me however trying to denormalise a sports team visiting the Vatican and suggesting a narrative that it’s motivated by sectarianism is laughable, utterly utterly laughable. You can think it’s cringeworthy because it probably is and that would be a pretty normal way to respond
  19. Except that there are hundreds of sports teams/people who visit the Pope when in Rome, it’s not an uncommon thing however the only place with an issue with it is here, Celtic aren’t exactly setting precedent here
