Every decision on the field matters irrespective of perceived structural injustices. Every club has the right to feel their games are officiated consistently and fairly. You bring some idiotic arguments to the table but you have surpassed yourself here.

Maybe it would have, none of us now for sure because it didn’t happen at the other end but he is giving an opinion based on his experiences of VAR decisions that have went for and against us, the one immediately springing to mind is the one we didn’t get against Hearts but we were given one against us for an identical offence against Ross County. We also have the Bernabei one, the one against Matt O’Riley in the Champions League another example. We haven’t been getting the rub of the green with a few or these decisions whereas you have hence your experience and opinion is different. The reason for that could just be simply bad luck but there is no suggestion from him of bias, corruption or anything else which is the narrative being suggested.

Like I said it makes no sense to me, we aren’t a particularly physical team where your players have a higher propensity to be hurt or injured and there is a weeks respite. I would have thought getting some sort of result considering league position would be pretty valuable also Fortune favours the brave and all that.

Fair enough I didn’t know that never having any interaction with him so I’ve deleted the post if perceived to be offensive however it still doesn’t make any sense as to why you wouldn’t play a full strength side in both games? I thinks it’s almost impossible to suggest there isn’t to a degree some unconscious bias as most of these guys were football fans way before they were an official. One of my mates who I’ve known since Primary 1 is a linesman and ironically had a howler against Celtic recently so much so he was getting pelters on twitter for being corrupt so I know it’s difficult for them when they need to make a split second call but there are things such as replicating referee comms like in rugby would help fans understand why decisions are made instead of radio silence.

So because we are successful we have to accept a shit standard of officiating and the resulting inconsistency? Very good

Both are stonewall pens imo. Starfelt makes a ridiculous decision to slide in and the result is Sakala loses his footing. Sakala doesn’t deliberately stand on Starfelt which would be impossible at that speed so he’s fouled. The Goldson one is what we have seen all season which is an inability to be consistent with decision making. It’s a nonsense decision.
