  1. Having Kev in goals is a bizarre choice, he’s clearly not fit. Can’t kick, cant dive . Genuinely surprised the Pars haven’t tried to take advantage of it, must be that Sportsmanship thing they were going on about.
  2. Hard to be critical given we're top of the league at New Year. Disappointing to have effectively thrown away 4 points in the last two games but there were always going to be bumps in the road. Main issue that I see is that we have a really bad habit of losing all sense of calm once we concede and go into panic mode for the next 10/15 minutes, usually resulting in us losing another goal. Rather not concede goals in the first place, but if we do concede, not going into panic mode right after would be nice.
  3. Yup, which makes it all the more crazy that we never brought him on today. At 2-0 it was the perfect game to bring him on and get him minutes combined with getting a hold of the midfield to see the game out.
  4. Wouldn't have made much difference if he had given an update on Stanton. Murray is great at a lot of things, but giving even vaguely accurate timelines for when injured players will be back is definitely not one of them.
  5. Well apart from Murray not standing off him away off to the side giving Chalmers all the time and space in the world to just pick his spot. It was a good finish but we made it easy for him.
  6. Can understand why Murray has been keeping playing Brown at CB. He’s been getting better each game and having him at CB means that at any point we can switch from 4 at the back to 3 at the back without having to make a sub. But last night really showed up that Brown isn’t a CB, although he wasn’t helped by both himself and most of the rest of the team having an off night. Leaves Murray some decisions to make going forward, accept last night was an off night and stick with it, switch the formation to fit in both Brown and Byrne or only play one of them. I remember Murray saying after the Airdrie defeat that it was a good thing and brought the guys back down to Earth. I think the game last night could be the same. Crazy that we still managed to get something from the game but a really good reminder that you’re not going to get away with a load of guys all having off nights. (Even though we did kinda get away with it)
  7. I'm just so used to it being a winner all the time. Lewis with the saddest looking hat trick pic.
  8. Where do you even start with that. Haven't a clue what we were upto defensively. It was like everybody had watched clips of Murray in his first spell here when he would constantly keep backing off when players were running at him and they all decided to do the same thing for the entire game. Lots of guys seemed to have an off game but Ayr played some really nice stuff and came out for the second half going for it, helped by us being all over the place. You'd have genuinely thought it was Ayr who had the extra man in the second half. But another last minute winner equaliser which is huge again. Losing the 4th from an error from Kev after getting ourselves back level you'd have almost forgiven them if their heads dropped. But they just keep going and it's big point given Utd failed to win. Still 5 points clear and another home game next weekend, can't complain. Although can we please just have a nice boring comfortable 2-0 win soon?
  9. What an utter shambles. You’d think we were the team with 10 men.
  10. Utterly fantastic day. From the bus up with Mystic Meg and her manic 6-4 prediction. Although I was trying to see if any betting site would let me stick a pound on it finishing 6-4, just in case. Board putting on all those free buses was genius and I hope that pays off with more people going to away games going forward. Cause let's be honest if today doesn't give you that buzz to goto more games, nothing will. First half we weren't at our best and seemed to stand off them quite a bit, we were struggling to win the ball and it seemed that every second ball landed with a United player. But second half we totally turned it around, pressing the United players a lot quicker and getting the ball down and playing more. The goal looked incredible and I cannot wait to see it on the highlights. The last ten minutes though, with Brown and Murray throwing themselves in front of things, Byrne going after everything and Millen with that fucking tackle. Utterly immense. Every single player was up for it today, but Byrne seemed massively up for it
  11. If only we’d got a second she’d at least have got her 6 takeaway 4 result.
  12. Had to laugh at Murray discovering a new issue with us having a decent size bench, trying to communicate who he wants to come back from warming up. At 3-2 down Connolly, Smith, Brown and Matthews were all warming up. Murray yells over as he wanted to make a sub, followed by about 30 seconds of them all trying to figure out which of them he wanted.
  13. Really? I'd say the amount of money we spunked on wages in McGlynn's last season is probably more than we're spending this season. Probably a lot more when you throw in the money we paid out to Keatings for nothing and the whole Goodwillie shambles. One thing that's been mentioned in the interviews about the new board is how shocked they were by the contracts we'd been letting McGlynn hand out.
  14. Don’t know about every game but I know my Dad watched the last derby game on his fire stick and it was definitely the Raith TV stream he had. He was texting me during the game about how impressed he was with all the replays, etc. He’s a Pars fan so I think Raith TV was a step up from the Pars TV streams he’s used to.
  15. Not us conceding from a set piece early in the second half. Shocked.
  16. The arsehole with the flag is back again. Looks like he’s being told he can’t hang it though.
  17. Easton Comes on late, gets the assist, winds up half the Pars team, gets booked and then subbed back off. What a guy.
  18. Not enjoying our tactic of getting a throw in and then everybody just standing still and not making a move.
  19. Brown ain’t in midfield as he’s in the defence warm up at CB. Guessing it’s McGill in midfield alongside Byrne.
