  1. At least we can make use of our experienced bench to change things for the second half. Oh wait.
  2. Refreshed it a couple of times and the stream is back now.
  3. That's the inexperience showing. Should have done the simple thing and put it out, tried to be fancy and made an arse of it. That's the type of thing Lang would do, try and be fancy instead of just doing the simple thing. Hopefully Corr learns from it, cause Lang never seemed to.
  4. We won't. You can buy tickets for the game against the Pars right now, and the max price is £21.
  5. Strip is on the shop to order before it showed up on Twitter or that.
  6. This. When Connolly gets back we now have two different types of wingers, Connolly who is happy to run at people, and Mullin is the one who's more about getting space and sticking crosses in. He put in some cracking crosses tonight, just a pity that having Vaughan in the middle trying to get on the end of most of them was never going to work too well.
  7. This is like a training exercise now, defence against attack. We’re playing some really nice stuff but just can’t stick the ball in the net.
  8. Not really, it was always just a trial, if it hadn’t been for us getting you in the cup I doubt they’d have given it a trial run this quickly. I mean if you want a game to trial it in, a game against the Pars was the perfect one. Now they can take all the feedback and decide what to do before the first home league game in mid August.
  9. More players on the bench than this time last season at least. So much for summer football, utterly drenched walking up and now a massive dark cloud right over the stadium. The Craiglea Timber sign on the North Stand not being central is annoying me far more than it should.
  10. So...like giving him 45 mins in the Linlithgow game? Which was his actual first game back.
  11. I think it'll be interesting to see what he does when he has both Brown and Matthews fit. Will he try and fit both of them in to the team and play with two holding midfielders, giving a bit more cover for the full backs to push up? It would more than likely mean needing to play with just one striker, who'd you expect to be Hamilton. Then you're picking 3 from Mullin, Vaughan, Easton, Smith, Connolly, Gullan, Stanton and Ross. Typing all those names out you start to realise how stacked we are going forward. Assuming we don't get the usual Rovers injury issues, the ability to completely switch up our midfield/front line during a game could play a huge part this season.
  12. Murray did say he was going to be trying different things out during these games. I think this one is a failure though. Having a natural holding midfielder would make a huge difference. Really need another experienced CB alongside Watson. Especially when you consider that he’ll probably not be able to play every game. Got the fear he was going to be going out with a bad injury after his collision with Kev. On the plus side, the strip looks a lot better in person.
  13. Actually, I've just seen the new Celtic top. I take back what I said about ours.
  14. Ordered it, but I'm really hoping it looks a lot better in person than it does in the pics. It kinda looks like they'd already designed a top then got told they had to link it to Rovers somehow and decided to just stick some tartan sleeves on what they'd already done and call it a day.
  15. Watched the game last night and Corr did look promising, even with some of the mistakes. But there’s a big difference between being promising against a League One side in a pre-season game and being a starter in the Championship. There’s a reason Murray has said he’s looking to bring in another CB.
  16. Given how much this camera is swinging about all over the place trying to follow the balls during the warmups I'm getting an awful feeling they're charging £12.50 for a Pixellot stream.
  17. According to this, they're happy to let him go if he can sort something out somewhere else.
  18. Used to be a mortgage advisor and it was a minority of people who genuinely listened when you took them through what could happen with mortgage rates. Majority of people didn't care, even when you'd try and explain to them how important this is and why they needed to pay attention. It was like the idea that rates could go up was a complete non-starter in their head and nothing to worry about, and nothing you'd say would change that opinion. I mean why pay any attention, it's only probably the biggest financial decision you're going to make, so not that important.
  19. Back when Nicholl was in charge we had a pre-season trip to play Bangor in Northern Ireland. No idea what the score was or what the game was like, although I do remember a load of people missing half the game from falling into a drunken stupor during the second half. Great trip though, with swan derby on the pedal boats.
  20. Has anybody been able to actually successfully buy a ticket for the Linlithgow Rose match via Fanbase? Just get an error every time I try and pay. Tickets for the Kelty game are also available on Fanbase just now and they go through with no issues.
  21. Thought our game against Dunfermline was a 5:15 kick off but Viaplay are advertising it as a 7:45 KO. Did I miss that announcement?
  22. Was meant to do the Loch Lomond 10k this morning but it was an utter disaster. Turns out I missed the email they sent yesterday about the main road into Balloch being closed for road works. So I left Dunfermline at quarter to eight this morning, thinking it was plenty of time given the race didn't start till 10am. Get to the closed road, along with a load of other people having the same issue. Neither Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze could seem to get around the idea that we couldn't go down the closed road and seemed determined that was the only route, so were utterly useless. Ended up following the diversion signs which ended at another road.... which was also closed. After trying to find another route and failing, ended up with me and another couple of cars just driving through the closed road. By the time I got near to Balloch it was already the back of ten, and I still had to get to the car park, park and then get myself to the start line. So ended up giving up, coming home and running an angry 5k which ended up beating my previous PB by 30 seconds.
  23. Lang will probably do similar to how Bene did for the Pars in league 1 and be a stand out. His biggest problem was too often instead of doing the simple thing he'd try and do something fancy and get himself in trouble. Something that I doubt would have happened if he'd had an experienced guy alongside him, instead of him being the experienced one. He'll still do that in League 1 but he'll get away with it a lot more and the rest of his game is pretty solid. Plus he already knows how McGlynn wants to play so he's going to fit into the style of play with zero issues.
  24. I was wondering that. It’s the only player I can’t recognise.
