  1. Surely it's time that Lionel Hutz got the bullet. The CEO was not a passenger, he was at the wheel. I really feel for you guys, you get rid of the utter charlatans and inherit a fucking mess. I hadn't appreciated how tight it was. I heard rumours but sounds like you were close to not being able to pay wages. You'll need to cut your cloth accordingly, dig deep as fans and bail the club out. Short term pain for sure but hopefully you can get the club back to budgeting properly and attract new investment. All the best.
  2. Tontrooper and RedEd... Edit to add - Airdrie fans are in awe at your knowledge.
  3. Aye, the thought of starting the league cup with Reading and McAllister at full back...
  4. The constitutional settlement is known. Moreover, its a surprise to absolutely nobody including Scottish ministers that they had to seek an internal market exemption from the UK Government. Why did they not do this at the outset in 2021? Instead they sat on their hands until March this year. Maybe it's down to the Ukraine war and covid-19 like the A9 dualing. With the UK & Scottish Governments it really does feel like clowns to the left of me and jokers to the right for the electorate. The ineptitude of the governments in Westminster & Holyrood is fucking galling.
  5. Yeah, it will be interesting to see how it plays out. I'm not convinced soft SNP voters exist anymore. There was a soft element of the vote pre the independence referendum. However, the independence campaign galvanised and hardened that support of the SNP. Before then, it was clear that a section of the electorate were voting for the SNP as they thought they would govern best (how times change!) and not necessarily decided on independence. I'm not sure many of these types of voters still exist. I can't speak to twitter as I don't use it day to day. It does seem to promote extremes though.
  6. Surprised at this appointment tbh. Hopefully a sign that Humza is happy to break with Sturgeon and her inner circle and be his own man. It's the only chance he has of surviving in my opinion.
  7. The issue for the SNP will be getting the vote out in this one. I don't subscribe to the SNP to Labour swing. I expect there will be a swing from the Tories to Labour reflecting the general mood. However, I think the SNP vote share will drop because folk won't vote, to give them a bit of a bloody nose given the shambles since the turn of the year.
  8. Good luck to Houston. Would QoS like Paddy Reading? We'll waive the fee and even drive him down to Dumfries!
  9. Pretty much my view. The centre backs are fine for this level. Look at Aero and Brownlie at Partick. Its both of the fullback positions which need to be a priority.
  10. I see C&C Tennent’s have written to the Scottish Secretary. Stating that their view has been misrepresented with selective leaks of their letter (to the Scottish Goverment). So was it the FM who misrepresented Tennent's or was it Greer when he suggested they would go bankrupt. They can't even spin effectively! My bet now... SG will cancel the DRS and then the blame game will start.
  11. Nah, you want to shout something like "Get in the sea, you ginger windbag!". That being said, he'd probably greet you warmly as I imagine that's one of the nicest things a football fan would say to him. He's absolutely murder when there are games on BBC Alba. He comes out with such zingers as "The grass is wet <pause> because its been raining." Thanks for that insight.
  12. Ross County always fudge their attendances. Just realised, quelle suprise that it's Falkirk fan talking about the crowd. I respect you for maintaining the crowd wanking tradition.
