  1. Ben Nicky was very dece on Friday.
  2. I'll keep an eye out next time. That's decent value tbh. Used PA for a month, but couldn't justify the cost for how much I actually used it.
  3. Napoli have been a bit patchy since Milik got injured. I'd avoid them until he's back.
  4. Aye, that £150 was with minimal effort (i.e. an hour every weekend), once I'd used all the sign-up offers. Plus I wasn't signed up to any of the paid forums. Would be tempted to join Oddsmonkey if the price is still decent. Where does the £5 show up? Can't say I've seen that before.
  5. I've been doing a bit of actual betting/trading, so this has dropped right down in my priorities. Will try and get back into after Xmas as I was making about £150pm without much effort. Not an online offer as such, but getting a Coral Connect card is pretty worthwhile IMO. In the last month I've had 3 emails from them offering £20 in free bets (£10 online and £10 in-shop) to use at the weekend if you place a £20 bet in-shop during the week. In-shop odds aren't usually as competitive as the website and you can't use Oddsmonkey for matching. But there's no minimum odds, so you can back a short team to get your qualifying loss pretty low.
  6. IMO, that's Sky's biggest marketing success; making so many people believe that their product (the Premier League) is the be all and end all.
  7. I missed that Hartson comment at the time. Oaft
  8. RB have been free money in their last couple of home games. Good guys IMO.
  9. It's not the first time this season that Barca have dropped players with the Champions League in mind and it's cost them points.
  10. Of the clubs he names in the article (Celtic, Rangers, Hearts, Hibs and Aberdeen), Falkirk are currently sitting above 4 of them in the development league.
  11. They'd give most Premier League sides a game as well tbf.
  12. Totally agree. By 'not getting a great deal of game time' I meant in terms of what certain sections of our support and the media expect someone to be playing for them to get starts for the national side i.e. starting every week. Which, given his age and the club he's at, is totally unrealistic. I'm fine with how he's progressing and think he's one of our best chances of getting a result on Friday.
  13. Burke isn't getting a great deal of game time because, whilst Hasenhuttl rates his ability and physical attributes, he doesn't feel that his tactical discipline is there yet. And for a team that plays a high pressing game, that's a pretty key part of an attackers game. Also, it'd be harsh to drop any of Poulsen, Werner, Forsberg or Sabitzer from the starting XI as they're all in good form at present and Leipzig went joint top of the league yesterday. Very much a case of 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'.
  14. Excellent first half performance from RB. I watched them two weeks ago against Werder and they were decent enough in attack, but today they went for the jugular from the off. Werner looks some player when he's on form; pacey and direct, which is perfect given the team he's at.
  15. Another comfortable home victory for Villareal. Two belting goals from Trigueros and Soriano gave them a 2-0 win over Betis and heaps more pressure on Poyet. That's now 5 wins out of 6 at home, with Sevilla the only team that have avoided defeat at El Madrigal. They're a really enjoyable team to watch when they're on their game.
  16. Shout out to Empoli who ended a run of 8 games without scoring with a 4-0 win over Pescara. What's that saying about buses?
  17. Watched a full RB Leipzig game for the first time this season. Really impressed with the way they press high up the pitch and the tempo they want to play at, but I thought they were a bit one-dimensional in possession today. That said, they were comfortable enough against a Werder side who rarely threatened until they were 2-0 down. That's them still unbeaten and already broken the record for best start for a newly promoted side.
  18. That was a really entertaining game. Villarreal looked well off the pace first half, but got back into their stride in the second and created just enough to snatch it. Bakambu was rank for pretty much the full game, but did the business when it mattered. Bit harsh on Las Palmas, but there's times you just need to shut up shop and they seem to want to play expansive, attacking football regardless of the scoreline. Good for the neutral though.
  19. I was split between 2-0 and 3-0. Beelin that I went for the former. Hopefully there's a City goal for you lads that are on 3-1.
  20. I think they've scored too early tbh.
  21. Yup, it was a big 'f**k you' to the fans.
  22. Yeah, totally agree. Thankfully it doesn't get mentioned too often.
