  1. While you're absolutely correct, he's put in more terrifying crosses against us alone this season than some of our players have all season. An option to help bring Henderson through? I'd not complain. Connolly certainly doesn't seem trusted. Not a terrible shout, though not completely sure how he'd fit in. I'm not sure he's the type of of player I'd pictured when claiming we needed an attacking coach.
  2. Their steadfast dedication to helping the planet by virtue of saving water and reducing their personal consumption of toiletry-related plastic packaging.
  3. Cool, cheers. Will watch on Prem for dat added value. I'm cry-laughing all the way to the bank.
  4. Trying not to think about it, tbh. We were a shit ref decision away from basically being in flip-flops until late July, so I'm keeping my My main source of hope is that I want our game to be on Premier so that I can get more value out the six-month contract I accidentally signed up to before the LC semi. It's important to have achievable aims.
  5. Ex-Saintee Joe Shaughnessy had a spell up front last night when we were chasing the game, and did pretty well, considering. Just thought I'd leave that snippet there.
  6. Kyle McAllister took his penalty without looking, it seems.
  7. TBF, he made a couple great stops at the death from Shagnasty and Quaner, but they barely redeemed his earlier errors.
  8. Yeah, that's it in a nutshell. Very glad we weren't 3/5 at the back last night - it tends to give room for wingers and they were already giving us a torrid time with deliveries.
  9. Yep. I could see the logic behind the double sub and I'm glad it paid off for Jim. Dennis wasn't even taking part in the game and looked well off the pace - we have to remember how little game time he's had. Once again worth noting that more strikers does not necessarily equal more attacking. Re not knowing best team... completely agree. I guess you could argue - and I'm sure he would - that he takes a flexible approach depending on the games, but we so often don't quite get it right, it's reaching the point where I'm sure the chopping and changing can't be helping the players.
  10. As the cliche goes, though, at least he was shite for both teams. I certainly wasn't watching the game feeling we were getting hard done by, aside from the spell at 3-2 down. What I will say is how pleased I was to see how overjoyed our players were at FT. You could forgive them for being a bit reticent to celebrate given there's nobody in the ground, but it clearly meant a lot to them and it warmed my still-pounding heart to see them all huddling up. Also, Henderson is going to be a player. Incredible to see him going the full 120 minutes and still being involved, showing for the ball etc as we chased a result in the depths of injury time..
  11. It'd be worth it if only to make himself feel good looking for a while.
  12. Commiserations to Killie, btw. Your manager's a dick but that was a decent game and I think we can all see the outcome may have been different had Lafferty been on the park, or if you had a goalkeeper with functioning arms. Unlucky guys. At least - surely - there's zero chance you're going down.
  13. Nah, of course we were the preferable option - we stumbled through tonight. I though you were excellent yesterday and not just because of the opposition. After your hosing of HIbs in the LC, I've pretty much got you as favourites for the whole show here.
  14. Yeah, imagine not liking Scottish football. It's just fucking brilliant.
  15. Yeah, I've seen this one before. We're not scoring again here.
  16. It's not just the lack of running - it's the sloppiness of decision-making that shows how fucked we are. We're basically being pasted and don't look anywhere near dangerous enough. f**k it, we'd clearly not be able to cope with a European campaign anyway
  17. Yeah, I nearly added that. He's not been terrible, tbf. Can barely even remember seeing Dennis - unlike him to be so very quiet - he normally at least grinds out a speculative dig from somewhere.
  18. Highlight for me was seeing Lee Erwin trying to beat a man on the edge of the box. It was a bit weird to watch, tbh.
  19. Power getting away with what's known as a 'Broonie' there. Never a handball, though. Edit ffs my stream is slow. FFS. Good finish, tbf.
