  1. Killie two up. Accies surely finishing 12th if the scores stay this way.
  2. Through the middle, you'd imagine, unless we're going to a 4-4-2.
  3. I know it's hard to tell when he's playing in a different league, but reckon he'd have a future with us? TBH, we don't have a brilliant record with reintegrating players that we loan out. It's typically a sign that they're not really in plans. But he does sound like the kind of squad player we could make use of, so will be interesting to see if he's got a chance with us.
  4. Not sure about playing Durmus up front on his own, tbh.
  5. You guys feeling fairly downcast, then? How do you rate your chances of survival? I know it's hard to be objective - I'm usually full of woe at this time of year so I know what it's like. From the outside, Accies look nailed on for 12th to me, but it's ridiculously tight. Three points across the bottom three with four games to play has to be the closest it's been for a very long time, surely.
  6. Fraser has been so good we're collectively a bit nervous about not being able to hang onto him. Honestly, an absolute revelation.
  7. At least we know we can't drop a league place because Motherwell are literally hilarious against Accies.
  8. 19/10 on the County win. Crazy odds in the circumstances. Thought they were ok against us in the last game at their place, until all the red cards.
  9. We'd definitely have made top six on the basis we were only three goals short. Would he have scored three more goals this season of he'd been fit? Absolutely.
  10. Just watched the highlights there. It's been bugging me for a few weeks now who it is that Dennis reminds me of, and I finally got there. His playing style is very reminiscent of Robbie Fowler. Obviously not the same level, but the way he finds space, the way he can dig the ball out from under his feet, and the way he strikes it are similar. Neither blessed with tonnes of pace but prove it's not necessary if your thoughts are a couple notches faster than everyone else's.
  11. I can't watch the game: wife's had the AZ jag and is feeling the effects, so I'm watching both kids. These 6pm games are a nightmare in that respect. But honestly the state of the lineup has actually got me buzzing a bit.
  12. That is one of the most attacking line ups I've ever seen from us. Fascinating to see how this pans out! Edit: I'm assuming standard back three, Connolly and Durmus as wingbacks, JDH, McAllister and McGrath in the middle and Dennis Obika up top. If that line-up clicks, then it could steamroller ICT. Or it could be hilariously unbalanced and they'll rip us apart. Either way, it's fairly box office.
  13. Nah, not for me. Keep him in unless he's being dropped on merit. I want to get to at least another semi final this year. Best players available all in their best positions from here on in, until such a time as all remaining games are meaningless. The top six failure was a dropped bollock but semi-final money/occasion would help to atone for that slightly.
  14. Yeah, his pace over ten yards is non-existent. He can't catch up with the tricks he pulls. He actually can get up to pace over a slightly longer distance, but that's mostly irrelevant in the spaces he's having to operate in. (Edit: in my humble opinion I think he's carrying a little too much weight still. I think he could easily stand to lose 5-7kg. I'm sure the club will be on top of this. I still retain a lot of patience for him - I still think he could come good, but a number of factors are currently holding him back so he's in for a very important summer, IMO.)
  15. Might be decent value in the double chance Caley draw/win.
  16. Normally you'd say that's a blessing but those mad fuckers have seen fit to extend his deal so I really don't know what to believe any more.
  17. Goodwin been given a three match ban, but one suspended. He'll serve the first tomorrow night.
  18. Slow and injury-prone with no end product and a propensity for shiting it out of tackles? Ah, there you go.
  19. Obika and Dennis start = we win. One of the above + Erwin start = we probably win but it won't be pretty and it'll be very close Erwin up on his own = eye-gouging 90 minutes and we go out 1-0 to a 78th minute winner.
  20. I'm happy to give him pass marks for the Rangers game alone. That match dragged his average up to somewhere around a six.
