  1. Will Ross County vote to promote ICT? Will Hibs vote to save Hearts?
  2. I'd rather have rented our stadium to Celtic for money than have gone into administration and failed to pay money we owed to actual charities, but that's just me.
  3. Totally bored of this now. Just want the football back. Hearts will be unbearable if they get let back in, but they're unbearable anyway. We've got a four year old and we don't let him get his way if he whinges, but he hasn't got any maroon pounds, so
  4. That'd be spot on. I've not bought a shirt since 12/13 but could be tempted there.
  5. I'm starting a new job in July at a company that still has people on furlough, so I fucking hope it's not an issue
  6. Hladky has left a four-minute thanks & goodbye video on Instagram. Not a dry eye in the house. Watch it if you can.
  7. I certainly won't miss the endless posting of different league structure permutations.
  8. I think - think - that there might be more than one litigation lawyer who will be prepared to talk gullible football clubs into pursuing spurious claims, given that they'll get paid in any event.
  9. Yeah, fair enough, I've probably overstated it slightly. But I think we're agreeing on the core point: you never hear anyone complaining about it and they are very successful/competitive leagues (albeit with some mental overspending in some cases). Will be interesting to see what my local club (Sunderland) make of the inevitable decision to sack off their season. Absolutely laughable football club.
  10. Those huge English leagues are actually remarkably tight and competitive. A large number of teams often end up with a chance of promotion, playoffs or relegation. Any team that sticks a few wins together can climb a few places, then lose a couple and they plummet again. That's why there are rarely complaints and few dead rubbers. Of course, those leagues are rarely skewed by the same two dominant teams year after year, which helps.
  11. The virtuous triumvirate of Ross County, Hibs (you'd assume) and, hopefully, St Mirren getting this absolute pish in the bin. Then Hearts can get on with claiming their £3-5m compo.
  12. The legal challenge is more dead in the water than an Edward Colston statue.
  13. But there weren't 24 points still to play for. The season couldn't be completed, which was a fact all 12 teams were unanimous on.
  14. From the point of view of St Mirren, and other similar clubs on the 'footprint' of Rangers and Celtic, this HAS to get in the sea. I'm not saying it happens all the time, but we have picked up occasional gems that have been discarded by the ugly sisters. McLean and Morgan are the obvious examples, though there are others. We've also had some successful loans from them, too. If the colts teams were operating at league level, that source would dry up. What's more, it'd be harder to attract young players to our squad because they might see the colts route as a 'better' chance to progress, by remaining within the setup at those clubs. I'm not saying any other club should care about where we get our players from, but this will hopefully be reason enough for Saints to vote against it, before you even consider the multitude of other reasons.
  15. Cody Cooke monstered Connolly and made him completely lose his head. He 100% looked like he was going to cry at one stage. Mullen is also leaving, tbf.
