  1. Pressure's on Motherwell to do the right thing, tbh. Any points they take from us will literally be taking money away from a foodbank. At Christmas. They always seemed like decent folk so I'm sure they'll step up.
  2. Amazing scenes on @Div's Twitter yesterday. He pledged £25 for a local foodbank, for every point that Saints win in the next four games. Then loads of other people pledged to join in. The number was approaching £1,000 per point last night and I'm sure it will surpass that. Of course, there are the obvious punchlines about how safe everyone's money probably is, but it's lovely stuff at a tough time of year for a lot of people. Pressure squarely on the players now.
  3. People wondering why there's such a big difference between our home and away form... this is it. At home we create a load of chances, and maybe take one of them. Possibly two on a very good day. Away from home, the ratio is decimated. We are nowhere near clinical enough to take a goal from the two or three chances we create. Last night was a perfect example: 13 shots, three on target, one converted. It's just got to improve.
  4. I'm starting to think we might not have made the most of having Jack Ross as manager. Jpeg-wise, I mean.
  5. If that sentence didn't finish with 'myself' then he can get in the sea, the slow-talking waste of space.
  6. We've switched to one up front; S McGinn in for Mullen. Djorkaeff is on the bench despite playing earlier today for the reserves
  7. Joking aside, there's a real lack of quality in the league outside the top two. You've got a good squad and, now, a manager to match. I reckon Easter Road will be buzzing by the end of the season.
  8. Do any bookies do odds for the Premiership without Rangers and Celtic? I reckon now would be a decent time to get on Hibs.
  9. To be fair to Stubbs, he hasn't been responsible for any of the three relegations we've suffered in my lifetime (40 years). I tend to blame Davie Hay, the SPL, and Tommy Craig for those, respectively. Who do you blame for Hibs' three relegations in the same period, just out of interest?
  10. It's properly ridiculous that we are still in this league.
  11. I honestly don't really believe Hearts are 'in it', either; they'll make a proper appointment eventually and pull away. I also happen to think Hibs will finish third this year, albeit distantly behind Rangers and Celtic. That still leaves five clubs in the mix at the entertaining end of the league, and I reckon at least four of those will still be in significant trouble by the time March rolls around.
  12. Quite surprised to see a 'no' option in the poll, tbh.
  13. I shit you not, I actually tried to find a Latin equivalent for the above before I posted it. Wonder what the Latin is for 'this c**t needs to get out more'.
  14. This won't be the first time Jack Ross has been in the opposition dugout since leaving. I hope this game is slightly closer than the hounding Sunderland gave us. Of course, that day we had that clueless c**t Stubbs in charge, so we're one step ahead already.
  15. Plus this season's been so stop-start I think most folk have lost track of what the f**k's going on.
  16. Yeah, we're due something like 3.5% because of the development fee rules. You get something like 0.5% for every year he spent being 'developed' at a club before he reached a certain age. That is an established rule and has nothing to do with any arrangement with Hibs.
