  1. While we've got a few key players on contract, we're also looking at a fair bit of churn over the summer. Dunne away, possibly Joe Shags as well. Potentially need further cover at the back for Declan. Taylor signed but needs more time (might be ok after a preseason). Then up front, Main, Jamieson and Henderson probably moving on, Brophy should be released, Watt likely to be out our price range. We can't really depend on Ayunga not predict how/when he will return. Baccus's niggling injury may preclude a move this summer - and our chance of a big fee for him - but Strain has to be getting watched by clubs in England and you'd imagine 400k would do it. That's a LOT of the squad.
  2. Here's the club statement that clarifies everything and puts Wardrop back in his box. https://www.stmirren.com/club-news/4933-directors-statement
  3. The internet giving like-minded people a place to meet and exchange views is all well and good until you realise a significant chunk of people are fucking melters. And that many of them are on BAWA.
  4. To be fair, we don't know for sure that they know nothing about it. As you say, that's the part that is yet to be confirmed. I do agree this doesn't look great though. Hopefully now it's out there, someone will be able to offer some clarity/assurances about what has gone on.
  5. The basic facts appear to be true: an application in this name has been made to the Regeneration Capital Grant Fund. If it actually was done on the sly, as suggested, is harder to work out. It just seems so unlikely to me that that would have happened.
  6. Feels to me like prepping for being without Dunne and/or Baccus. Both different, but we'll miss Dunne's recovery pace and we'll miss Baccus's sheer busy-ness in the middle. Fits the mental image of a Robinson team giving opposition absolutely zero time to settle on the ball, but also not mattering too much if we can't keep it ourselves.
  7. Obvs they finished above us the two seasons prior to that as well - when they put us back in our box/rightful place, etc etc. Can't agree with wanting to see them promoted, tbh. Their ongoing failure is too amusing.
  8. I fucking love Curtis Main but wouldn't be overly worried if he moved on. Guy has absolutely bust a gut for us and would leave with his head held high. Wouldn't begrudge him a final payday if he can get it. Many might disagree but I think he and Ayunga are too similar to be a complementary partnership. As for Dunne, he would be missed, but if there's even a chance we're going to a 4-3-3 next season then it places less of a premium on a left sided CB.
  9. Yeah, this. For clarity, I don't blame him for our relegation. He's not that influential and I'm not a Hearts fan. He's just a c**t.
  10. Only happy to oblige. I just hope St Johnstone go into the final game needing a result elsewhere that doesn't come in. Fuckers will stroll the playoff again, sadly.
  11. Seeing the fan of a team that employed Alan Main talking about sporting integrity here is fairly fucking delicious, by the way. The one tiny silver lining of our dogshit performance/result at the weekend was that it helped to maintain St Johnstone's involvement at the wrong end.
  12. I'd actually say seven legends, if you work on the basis that anyone in the 99-00 team qualifies (which I would). That gives you Brown, Yards, Junior, Norrie, Nicholson, McGarry and McLaughlin.
  13. Power was playing like he had a point to prove yesterday. It's no secret he was one of the players that was told he didn't have a future at the club pretty much as soon as Robinson came in last season. Fair play to him for putting in a shift like that at his age.
  14. No, I was referencing the concept of booking tickets for the next round on the assumption that you'll roll over your drawn opponents. Assumed that was obvious tbh.
  15. It's showing on buffstreams as well. Fingers crossed one of them works.
