  1. The final ball is a good point. Our first half performance last night was actually not that bad. But every time we got into the final third we either delayed the cross into the box and lost it or we put in an absolutely dreadful ball. The free kicks are awful too. Mainly Walsh taking them. Remember last year when we moaned so much about Kirky floating the ball in and things? He does the exact same thing. Every time. One point Paul McGinn got to the byline last night and hit a ball first time into the box. Absolute quality - something which we lack in our squad at the moment.
  2. Interesting how different opinions can be. Other than last night where Routledge was our best player by miles, I thought he has been awful for about 4 or 5 weeks! I would have him down as one of our worst vs Morton too. Shame he seemed to do well yesterday and then misses out on Saturday. Barr was doing really well, before his injury/suspension? kicked in, at CB and don't see why folk think he doesn't have a right to replace Buchanan who hasn't yet convinced me. Yes he has pace on his side but he is the weakest CB we have in our squad IMO.
  3. As bad as Brown has been - and I have criticised a lot - the one vs Rangers is a bad example. He had absolutely no chance of getting it. Thought so at the time and again when I seen the replay.
  4. Think it is harsh to say undeservedly as I think we are stronger with Barr and Wright paired at CB. Not completely convinced by Buchanan yet.
  5. I personally think there were positives in yesterday's performance. I think it is clear that Kirky would be a much better option than Gallagher who is just completely out of his depth. Also, I have been saying for a few weeks we should start with Taggart at RM and I stand by my opinion that he is a better option there than Cawley. Both lack fitness but will only gain that through game time.
  6. You really need to calm down... I'm sure you are perfect at your job and never learn anything new or make any mistakes.
  7. Yep, excellent to see something is being done to stop these idiots. As above, it is worse that he has a son who he takes with him to games. Pretty clear to me he is an idiot who shouldn't be in any football ground again.
  8. I'm gigging in Inverness on the Monday night and then driving home. Got the Tuesday off and already trying to get Weds off. Would be a bit of a pain if it were now on the Weds. But either way I will be at the game fortunately.
  9. Seems a decent amount of interest on the FB event they have made to measure rough numbers.
  10. There's nothing great about any of our current squad on the right hand side of the midfield though. Taggart has looked most convincing to me out of all the players who have featured in that position in recent weeks.
  11. Still have the same opinion of Gallagher as I have since he signed more or less. Just isn't quite good enough for this level. Had a couple of good games but really struggles to be effective. I'd drop Gall and bring in Taggart/Cawley. Move Garry up top and play whoever comes in on the wing. I liked the idea of playing Cawley centrally too, which we done yesterday when we brought Taggart on. Wouldn't be against that. As harsh as it may seem I would even consider dropping Fleming and playing Nade and Cawley up front together. Think that could potentially work better than having two pretty similar 'hold the ball up' or 'flick it on' kinda players.
  12. His name is basically a ned saying 'Claire Hay'... well close enough.
  13. I'd say he ticks all the boxes for something we don't particularly have! Pleasing.
  14. My phone is getting sick of me refreshing the page...
  15. Can believe they are still thinking the game will go ahead tomorrow!! Oh yeah, good news about the signing too...
  16. Don't get me wrong, I am a little bit concerned when you see the likes of Livi snapping up a fair few decent looking signings this window. But I think it is fair to say that at the start of the season Stevie was still learning about management at this level and we made a couple of signings that just didn't work out. So I can to an extent understand why he isn't rushing into too many deals. I am pretty sure he is actively on the lookout and will be right up until the last day of the window. How many full loans do we have left now anyway?
  17. Longest spell with any side was his 2 years at Hamilton. Knew he'd gone from club to club but didn't realise how bad it was! Haha
  18. As Moonster says... Or you may as well post it on here. Or at least go to the hassle of creating a new account to post it as a 'rumour'... not that we ask much.
  19. Does it make it difference if one of the loans is development? Not sure of ages and names of folk being suggested but think it does make a difference if I remember correctly.
  20. Pretty decent but never got too much of a chance with us. Murray didn't use him enough in my opinion. Should do a decent job in League 1. Wee bit of pace going forward and looked decent enough defensively.
  21. Interesting, but only if they are up to the standard we need/want! I am surprised about Jaz. He surely knew he would be on the bench all year? Also, he was happy to do it last season under Rogers so why not this? Possible he has came to the realisation that he is getting older/more unfit and needs to play but not sure why that has happened quite so suddenly.
  22. To be 100% completely honest I think it is fair to say that is his level anyway. Knew there was no way he was leaving without something else lined up though.
  23. Not just a few things up their sleeve, but they better get a move on as I reckon we need a couple of bodies in for the weekend! Cawley doesn't work on the wing (especially on the left) for me and Gallacher is a tryer and everything but still hasn't convinced me - in any position. Then there's the (lack of) striker situation to be addressed...
