Clydebank are the form team-consistent again in the league and hard to beat home or away.

Surely it won’t end with Rob Roy not being the main user/tenant of the new development.All of their plans were based on that.Dont know where the club would go if this transpired.

Been a magnificent player for Lok and is in his best ever form this season.I think that’s 17 or 18 goals so far?

They are a bit of a bogey team in cups for us as they also put us out of the West I think at quarter final stage in early 90s-again on penalties!

They were well organised and very up for it-closed down well and always looked clever on the break.I think a large number of the players came across in one group from another club and if so that shows.Must be strong candidates for promotion.

Spot on -and brought about by dropping our first choice keeper and centre half!

Dalry were well organised and had a game plan and played very well. Lok dropped 5 regular starting players and it showed as never looked convincing and paid the price.Never underestimate opponents.

A difficult one -always thought Beith owned Bellsdale and didn’t realise they were tenants

As long as the lease is of decent duration-which it sounds like it is at 99 or whatever years.To be fair the ground is pretty good now

Ah-ok.It is just a case when the money is pulled and they will disappear from view again.But as I said the facilities will have improved.

Yip they have given us really tough games -old Frank and Paul have got them very well coached and they have some very good young talent.Plus add in the likes of Shaun Fraser who when he is focussed is a very good player and you have a strong team

Not sure I quite follow but Darvel were certainly one of the lesser lights of junior football putting it mildly

The Bens are a dangerous side -we got a right doing at Tinto and they could surprise many this season

It’s easy to slate Gall and Kennedy but they did bring Darvel out of total obscurity into the headlines.The club had no history or heritage as a significant club in junior/non league football and it was always going to be a short term burst whatever way it played out-we have all seen that with various clubs over the years where a sugar daddy has arrived. The ground has certainly been upgraded massively and if that is the only legacy then it’s decent.

Game was won by half time and all the subs then used to give them a run out.Strong performance to get things up and running again

Yes -now it’s Loks Bar and Restaurant and plenty of fans use it at half time when they can nowadays too

Absolutely agree-I am not a fan of artificial surfaces at all and it would be a disaster if Newlandsfield ever changed to that
