Yep we never got going and didn’t deserve anything. Seemed a soft penalty to go behind in 15 minutes and that put us on the back foot but the second goal right at the start of the second half killed it. Well done to Darvel-deserved winners.

Bens were up for it as they have proved time and time again this season when we have played them

Agree-soulless place with the horrible surface and terrible to get to.Complete waste of time holding finals there especially the West which could easily have been at Meadow Park or Dunterlie etc

Yes thought that this would be the bigger attendance of the two ties but the Renfrewshire derby pulled in the fans.

Auchinleck have such a history in this tournament it takes a huge performance to beat them-Darvel do have quality players so we will see. The other one is very close to call.Could go either way and am not sure at all.

Appreciated. It was a game of twists and turns and plenty of entertainment -and when we went behind at 2-1 with a man then off I feared a repeat of many games in the past when we would go on to lose 3 or 4 but this time we really showed grit and spirit which was very pleasing.

Terrific result for us in what has been a difficult season.Well done Maxi and all the team.Beechwood has been a hard place to get a result in recent seasons but we deserved that victory today .

Beezer of a game in store. Very hard to call but Auchinleck are an incredibly hard side to face when on form so I think with their momentum they might just edge it.But who knows ….

Incredible form in a very competitive league.Now that Auchinleck have built up momentum they will be hard to stop and it will require big performances from all the title challengers against them

I am not sure where the claim that Auchinleck wouldn’t want to get promoted to the Lowland league comes from as I am sure they would go for it given the chance?

What do you do with a team which just decides on a whim that it doesn’t want to play a fixture?Tail wagging the dog.The authorities have to have the balls to deal with this properly or lose all respect.

Looking at the table it’s quite a league race and got to say going to be an exciting end to the season.Possibly the largest number of teams still in contention that I can remember!

I suspect Nicky Low is on a higher weekly figure than any player at Newlandsfield.
