  1. Makes sense although I'm not sure how they could identify where you were actually watching. My internet for some reason seems to think I'm in Watford - only about 400 miles out.
  2. Incidentally I heard that Scottish games this season are not allowed to provide PPV to viewers outside Scotland i.e rest of the UK and Ireland. Is that a Sky reg?
  3. But then OF fans very rarely need to pay for PPV; a huge proportion of their away games seem to be covered by Sky etc.; certainly a significant increase on those available to other clubs. Remind me; were any of our home games against the OF not covered by Sky last season?
  4. What a shite storm this thread has become - anyone got anything to say about football? Will be interesting to see some of the Livi old boys today; particularly Shaun Byrne. As a matter of interest; has he been sent off at all since joining Dundee? It was getting to be a bit of a regular occurrence for us, limiting his appearances, but I can't recall seeing him being shown the red card once; since his move. That being said; as he was often one of two players remaining back whenever he rest of the team went up for a corner; I suppose its not surprising.
  5. Shouldn't you also mention that you're probably three times his age and a couple of years off drawing your pension(subject to more health and social care updates being approved)? Still maybe you could hit him with your zimmer frame?
  6. Excuse me - all the livi supporters I know have parents that are married.... Just not necessarily to each other.
  7. Shouldn't that be Livi old boys vs Livi New boys? Strange one - should be a fixture were jumping at but its difficult to get excited about this and that's no disrespect to James and his team. Its a guarantee we'll be winning this 1-0 until the sixtieth minutes when we concede due to a predictable defensive mix up. Will look like we're drifting to the inevitable 1-1 snore-fest only for another 90th minute lapse. Would be extremely happy to be proved wrong though but currently struggle to see anything but a narrow Dundee victory. EDIT - Ignore that; I cannot swallow the idea that we will head into our home game against Celtic with zero points still on the board. However illogical I'm going for a 2- nil Livi victory.
  8. Trouble is are there any really easy fixtures this season? Normally I'd point the finger at Ross County or perhaps St. Mirren but neither are a walk in the park. St Johnstone have been weakened but even so there's not going to be the obvious cushion that we've had in other years.
  9. Dont forget Kelly apparently playing with two cracked ribs as well.
  10. Livingstone used to be in North Rhodesia wasn't it - remembering my school days when half the map was pink.
  11. What All the "diving Hibs" chat? Think I can only notice one post about Scott Allen other than that all the comments seem to have originated from the Hibs side.
  12. I believe four clubs have made enquiries. Previous good relations with Arbroath; East Fife; Raith; Ayr and QoS. Can almost rule out Arbroath as we'll almost certainly be looking for guaranteed level of appearances and they already have two of our fringe players. The same could possibly be said for Raith. Martindale's relations with Hopkin might swing things in Ayr's favour but they're certainly not without their troubles and the recent covid outbreak might have an impact on the decision. Ultimately I know nothing.
  13. Strange how so many "new posters" with strangely similar personas have disappeared over the past week? Almost as if they were all the same person?
  14. If the parent clubs are paying their wages then the risk in having them in the squad is minimal. Last year we had a bit more of an issue with suggested expectations over McCrorie's playing time which seemed to impact us. For a side who often were described as bullying the midfield in recent years; we've looked decidedly "powder-puff" so far this season. That hasnt been helped by the somewhat card-happy refereeing though.
  15. Too early to judge - didn't really see much of either of these guys in the cup games and pretty much nothing since. Lewis looked handy against Brechin but poor in the following game (Alloa?) as far as I can recall. Williamson will be in direct competition with Holt so it really depends on how the latter continued to perform.
  16. I think the evidence of the last handful of games is that Fitzwater cant play at right back. Agreed; he's been played in that position but it was only marginally more successful than Odoffin as a striker. With regard to Parkes, from what I'm hearing, he was about two stone over-weight - hopefully he's well on the way to correcting that. For Kelly, so far he's only been brought in as a substitute around the 60-70th minute. Coming into a shifting backline is something he seems to have struggled with. Maybe he'll be better starting there?
  17. And "weight-watchers" Parkes. If Devlin moves up then we have no-one at right back. Whatever format you play that's going to be a problem.
  18. Personally I think we're reasonably well covered at CB at the moment. The bigger problem seems to be RB; with McMillan injured and the persistent desire to move Devlin into midfield means there's a gap at right back position. Attempts to fill it with Fitzwater have consistently not worked.
  19. Taking Bailey off for Kelly was like we'd already settled for a draw with thirty minutes to go.
  20. Congrats to Motherwell. Architects of our own failure tbh but they all count. Also thanks to all those that joined in on the applause for Steven. total class.
  21. Frequently - but leastways it gives us something to talk about other than the danger of plastic pitches..... allegedly.
  22. Surely you cant be referring to oor Gerry - his financial history is squeaky clean
