My Nike+ was way out last time round. It measured 4m as just over 4K. It might be time to upgrade to a Garmin or something similar.

That's my neck of the woods DD. I ran back from Linlithgow to Polmont along the main road on Saturday but the timings etc were all out on my Nike+. Either that or I was shockingly slow. Has anyone that uses Nike+ recalibrated it and if so, what was the best method. I could easily do so in the gym but it's not the same as propelling your body forward. I'm thinking the only way to accurately do so is hit Granegmouth Stadium and claibrate using the track. Glasgow Half Marathon is my goal now that I have new running shoes. Looks to have been the answer to my injury but I knew that was the case anyway. These bad boys are the best

Hughes and Pressley are similar in that they can talk a good game. Therefore, failings on the pitch can be contributed to 'outside' influences. as long as they can continue to talk about playing young guys and playing in the correct manner they will get time from certain aspects of the support. If they were bahaving like Lambie did then they would be universally hated and out of a job. It's a thoroughly modern approach to manangement and one in which cost cutting/imcompetent chairmen can hide behind. Foe what it's worth, I'd say Pressley is 50/50 with his signings. Farid, Taylor, Higginbotham and Millar were good players no? It did take a year for the last two to get going but we miss them badly. All our young guys are going to end up as honest grafters in the Scobbie and Andy Lawrie mould. That's probably got a lot to do with having to play full seasons as 17 year olds. American Psycho - 6/10 I suppose they did a decent job but the source material is far better. The stuff they couldn't have put in a mainstream Hollywood version makes the absurdly comic moments all the sharper. With them missing I felt some of the biting satire the movie was aiming for was lacking. Bale is tremendous as Patrick Batemen though.

That's your card marked. Most of the big hitter there have tried and failed on Pie and Bovril. I reckon most frequenters of single club forums just can't handle differing points of view (i.e. fans of other clubs). Supple quit and signed up for some gaelic football back in Ireland. He's quit that also and gone back to football. I don't think it has anything to do with primadonnas. More to do with him being shit and not getting a game for Ipswich. Getting sent to Falkirk (4 games) and Oldham (5 games) is enough to tell you to pack it in. I think the Gary Gillespie thing would have worked had he packed in the game a year after playing for us.

Olejnik's been recently blasted in this thread over mistakes made in that 3-2 Motherwell defeat. Mark Stewart ballooned a tap in header way over the bar in the same game. In many games both players would make mistakes. However, Olejnik could also pull off some remarkable saves after a mistake. Stewart got by through busting a gut. Effort is no substitute for talent though.

I managed another short, freezing run with no bother. Predictably I started to dream of a winter marathon. If anyone sees me contemplating anything over a 10K use the report function.

I've managed 2 X 2 mile runs in the last 4 days. Doesn't sound like much but I've been injured since August. Encouraging stuff.
