Totally agree with the gripes regarding the EMF. The last involvement I had was as part of a relay team. I was first leg and couldn't meet up with the other 3 guys until back in Castle Terrace carpark at teatime. It sounds like the organisation is still shambolic. I think there would be a great appetite for a 10K/Half in the Falkirk area that took in the Helix/Kelpies. It could start in the Cally Park and finish in the stadium. It would also be fast as f**k if it started in town and ended up down at the stadium.

I lived in Cessnock at the time and the walk back to my flat in my Falkirk top was tremendous. Had many locals hanging out their windows cheering. Yep, it's that petty through there.

Managed to enter the Ballot on the way to work on the train. At 06.59am It's getting ridiculous trying to get a place in this race. They are reducing the qualifying times to limit the number of folk earning a place through performance (not that I need to worry about that).

After watching and listening to some Hearts fans at work today I suppose we can be grateful that we haven't slipped into admin before now. What a shower of graceless, cheating fucks. Makes me even prouder that we were able to repay our previous mess in full. It's imperitive we make the playoff final and win it now. Should Hearts get out of admin and be allowed to sign players, clubs like us will get f**k all decisions in games against them and Rangers. A title battle between Sevco and Hearts will be allowed to remain as long as possible.

Is it not conceivable that Pressley is a 'messiah' at Coventry because he's doing a great job...there. I'm certain not many Livi fans will have a great word to say about Paul Lambert. I've said it before, I'll say it again...Pressley probably has the makings of a great manager. It's just unfortunate that we were his starter club.

I managed 54 mins for a 10k yesterday. I'm happy with this as it's my first 10k in a while and the last 3k were all uphill. I might push for a PB this year (sub 52 mins).

I'm aiming for a 90 min finish in the Great Edinburgh Run at the moment (although I'm no where near this just now). That target will be revised depending on my training. Is that too fast or slow Ziggy?

diamonds - Yep. Signing up as soon as I get paid. I've tackled all parts of the route in various 10k and marathons but not in the one go. The course map makes an already small Edinburgh look even smaller. I think it will be a fun but tough route. Various hills so no PB for me.
