Kilmarnock v Hibernian 16/2/20
superkillieaway replied to Andy_K_97's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Unlucky not to take something from that. We just have no options off the bench. Very thin squad which is worrying because we can’t really change a game. Hibs actions in the jan transfer window won them that game. if we play like that every game til end of season we will be close to top 6! Shouldve had a pen at the end for the rugby tackle on DDF and I thought McNulty looked narrowly offside for his flick on for 2nd goal. But we also got a bit of a jammy deflection for Burke’s bullet header. Clear improvements over the last 4 games and any fan would’ve taken 9/12 points. Big game is on Wednesday now -

Be interesting to see how many of the Hearts wins came around the Johnston/Locke/McCulloch era -

Reporting innocuous tackles and small grievances to the compliance officer is for weirdos like the Old Firm. This thread might actually be making my eyes bleed more than the one when we played the hibees -

Alan Power to ramp up his killing spree and finally destroy what is left of Stevie May's knee. Big game for both teams. We really need to get a win from somewhere. -

You missed complaining about the home support being unable to fill 3 stands so we should give you another one. Blah blah blah green pound. -
Kiltie showed so much more potential. He was probably our best player in the run in to the Falkirk Play-off season. He was influential in keeping us up that season. The other 2 have never been first team regulars. If Kiltie can somehow recover the form shown that season then he is by far the best player.

Motherwell FC - A Thread For All Seasons

He is very capable of scoring an absolute thunderfuck of a goal but was one of those players that really benefited from the Clarke effect. Didn't start many games and when he did he seemed to be pushed out wide. He was a decent squad player and there did seem to be something there but never really proved too much. Most of his appearances came later on in games. I seem to remember him being quick but pretty light weight. Really struggled when played up top by himself. Probably worth a punt considering yous seem to have a few striking options -

Dom Thomas out on loan to Dunfermline. Probably justified. He hasn't quite done enough in the Premiership yet -
As stated before the Nomad game is by far away our worst result. Definitely as a 20-something its the worst in my lifetime following the club. However, getting horsed 5-0 at tynecastle by a bunch of kids led by Ryan Stevenson getting a hattrick really left me on a downer. I was certain that we were going down. That was the earliest ive ever left a game - was seriously considering leaving at Half time but thought id give the players a chance to do something in the 2nd half. Hearts came straight out and continued the shagging. Terrible team, terrible owner, terrible manager. Thankfully the Hibees imploded. Honourable mention to the sacking of Kenny Shiels - we suffered for a while after that. But thankfully we eventually got rid of our leech of a chairman.

This time weve given the job to our assistant because he is one of eh boyz and is pals with the players. That usually works out excellently -

Does my fucking box in when keepers take a step behind their wall at a free kick. The wall is there to stop him. If a player goes up and over FairPlay. If Branescu stands at that side then he just catches that ball. -

Hoping the last 2 games are just the new manager bounce and the hibeys get back to being relegation battlers soon. Tactic for marking doidge should just be to make sure not to get in the way of any of his shots. Has he scored a goal yet that hasn't been deflected in? Or a palm out from a keeper. Has Jack made you stronger in the middle of the park? That's where we need to win the battle

I remember watching a Scotland qualifier (think it was Wales away) with a Spanish friend. He was confused why we were getting all heated and angry at a what he called a 'friendly'. It must be so nice just to be able to stroll through the qualifiers every fucking time. They don't know how lucky they have it. -

Hearts to score a "well worked" freekick/corner from the McPhee playbook. Hopefully we have 2 CBs available, really struggled against a physical Aberdeen and the jambos have the same vibe with Uche up top. -

Anyone calling for Danny Wilson to get a call up needs their head checked. The MLS is absolutely rotten and is of a lesser standard than the Scottish Premiership. When I saw him play for Colorado Rapids he was playing as a defensive mid and basically played in a 10 yard radius. In that game Sam Nicholson also tore a defence apart, that tells you all you need to know about American "soccer" If Liam Lindsay is getting regular game time then I would say call him up to have a look at him atleast. Worrying trend of the EPL players calling off. Hopefully there wont be any more -
