  1. That’s a honking decision[emoji23] thought it must have been a stonewaller since there wasn’t much protest from the players at the time.
  2. Any idea why McCann was booked for the incident with Popescu? Looked like a perfectly fair, but firm, challenge from Popescu and he just went fucking mental at McCann for whatever reason, and McCann got booked as well? Can only imagine it was something he said because otherwise that’s just a very odd decision.
  3. Christ. Surely there wasn’t a moment in that game where you were actually worried about us scoring?
  4. That was desperately fucking pish to watch. Not a single player gets pass marks out of that lot. It’s frightening how much Dom Thomas adds to us and how much we miss even the slightest bit of creativity when he’s not playing. Really bizarre decision to have Todorov, Wighton and O’Hara on the bench, to have McCann up front on his own who will do very little without the right support. McDonald has shown that he’s improved as a full back but he’s definitely not a winger - he looked so unnatural and we quite often see him lingering about the middle of the park, not quite knowing what he’s meant to do. Dow was much the same, he isn’t a fraction of the player he was pre injury.
  5. We've only just managed to rid ourselves of that completely helpless attitude ourselves. We're not exactly out of the woods either. We have had a couple of massive wins in the last couple of weeks but we're still sitting with just 2 wins out of 15 league games this season, one less than Accies. I'd be bitterly disappointed not to win on Saturday, but we haven't exactly shown much to say that this should/will be a comfortable stroll.
  6. I don’t think that’s a penalty. It’s incredibly naive from Porteous to leave his leg out like that but that itself doesn’t mean it is or deserves a foul? Kent goes down far too easily for me. The way he jerks his right leg/foot after a bit of contact isn’t natural.
  7. Crawford oversaw some impressive runs as Pars manager, we’d quite often go 6-7 games unbeaten/without conceding, but we equally had spells where we couldn’t score to save ourselves and would easily lose 3-4 in a row. He also pumped your lot 4-1. He clearly has an eye for a decent player and coached them well. He just struggled to get the best out of them sometimes and it often seemed like a plan b wasn’t there. Our squad under Crawford never seemed to lack in attitude or commitment, and the players always looked willing to play and win for him. Good luck to him at East Fife, getting out of the mess you’re in would be an excellent achievement and I’d be absolutely delighted to see him do well.
  8. Never mind. It’s that fucking diddy cup tonight so looks like tickets will be £20/£10 on Saturday?
  9. £12/£6 for the game against Killie tonight is a very reasonable price. Take it that’s not a one-off and it’ll be the same on Saturday?
  10. Definitely. It summarises the dire position the club was in during, quite a few of the players had clearly stopped caring after a while. I honestly thought the damage was irreversible but it’s incredible to see the difference in the last few weeks.
  11. I also found the Monday part when he came back for training hilarious. He came in with a mask, hat, haircut and tan, and Grant’s standing there scratching his head going “that’s no right.”
  12. I’m not suggesting that pissing off on holiday whilst the club is rock bottom of the league is good behaviour. What it does show, however, is the complete disconnection between the players and Grant. Watson must have felt he had absolutely no loyalty to Grant and that he didn’t deserve his respect. Again, I don’t think the situation is intrinsically Grant’s fault, but there is a certain significance about it happening with him as the manager.
  13. Not enough being said of that Darvel volley 30 seconds before the goal
  14. Quite a few Brechin boys look like they're carrying a bit of timber.
  15. There's something that feels very.. '2009' about this Brechin side. I think it's the kits.
  16. Couldn't think who the co-commentator was and talk of playing with Andy Kirk at Dunfermline and playing for Falkirk in the 2015 Scottish Cup final had me baffled. Forgot Rory Loy was becoming a regular. Having a look at the squads from that final, Inverness surely set some record for finalists/winners with the fewest Scottish players in the starting 11? Just 3 from the starting 11 and another 3 on the bench.
  17. http://dlvr.it/SDNSWL It is pleasantly bizarre to hear of players have so much ambition and optimism, given the feeling around the club between August and, what, 3 weeks ago? If there’s one thing I would have guaranteed I wouldn’t be reading this season, it would be an article with that tone. I certainly wouldn’t have expected anything like it this side of Christmas. Looks like the appointment of Hughes and the supporters’ meeting last week have had an incredible impact on the entire Club.
  18. Doesn’t even look like a foul, let alone a red card for Dunsmore. Ref shat it IMO, saw a strong challenge and automatically goes for the red card. Regardless, quality result for BoD.
  19. Booing the half time whistle as if they were going to do anything 40 yards from goal with 10 Livi players behind the ball [emoji23]
  20. Happy now? Fucking hell, you lot love a whinge, don’t you?
