Must say I’m shocked they picked a Rovers game but the extra cash will be useful.
Not that useful.
£1500 per side

Wasn't in the dugout tonight at a decent game between Rosyth & Nitten. Impressed by a strong looking home side but Nitten edged it with some great individual performances in a team full of lads in their late teens to early 20s!
I think Nitten will only get stronger as the season goes on.
Blackburns defeat to Lochore was a big surprise. I had them down as one of my favourites for promotion but they have only won two out of six.
Camelon v Dunipace should be a cracker on Saturday.

A Reece Redpath goal in around the 70th minute see us into tomorrow nights First round draw.
absolutely buzzing.

Early days but there are a few teams pulling away at the top.

Whens the 3rd round draw?
The draw was made before the end of august last year.

Great win for camelon. We were phenomenal. Think st Andrews had an off day as well
All I can say is thank goodness I was working yesterday.
And to think we took the lead as well.
Next up Dunipace at home so it doesn’t get any easier.

So you don't think Whitehill (your next game) will be in the hunt?
On Sunday I listed six teams who I thought would be our main rivals for promotion.
Blackburn, Whitburn, Newtongrange, Dunipace, Camelon and Kirkcaldy.
I stand by that list. But that doesn’t mean I’ll be right.

great start to the season for St Andrews, 2 wins against 2 teams who will also be right up there at the end of the season. Without last seasons top scorer last night also
Absolutely. We had several players missing last night.
And our next two games are against teams that will be challenging for promotion so it doesn’t get any easier.

Dunipace's pitch is out of action, their next scheduled home game is in 3 weeks.
I forgot that.
why not switch the fixture then?

Does anyone know why VOL and Dunipace didn’t play this midweek?

St Andrews game turned on a substitution.
Our New striker came off the bench to score two and set up another as Saints came from behind.
Three teams on six points and two of them meet on Saturday.
An early season cracker.

You won’t catch me narrowing it down to three clubs.
I stand by my original list.
Kirkcaldy and Camelon away in the space of four days will tell us a lot about the Saints chances.

For me, Camelon, Blackburn, Whitburn, Kirkcaldy and Dunipace will be vying with ourselves and Newtongrange for promotion.
six out of those seven won so no real surprises yesterday.

Incredible indeed Hibee.
4-2 up with a minute of normal time left against 10 men you’d think Saints would see out the time. But no they lose a poor goal from a set piece, score straight from the kick off and then lose another moments later and end up hanging on.
Three of the goals we gave away were criminal. We can’t afford to do that in our upcoming games which are against three of the best teams in the division.

St Andrews v Haddington
Tough draw but at least we will have our first ever home Scottish Cup tie.

Aye, which is why they have been almost uniformly eliminated. The real problem is with the arbitrary nature of the penalty shoot-out. When the alternative was a coin toss, PKs were an improvement. But FIFA and the worldwide football community can surely devise a superior replacement, such as extra time with the removal of some players.
I totally agree. Penalties are an unsatisfactory way of settling a game.
Andy Gray suggested removing players in extra time years ago.
Worth a look.

It would seem to be (though not yet confirmed). Unlicensed clubs are required to play in the opening round and since the next round has space left for 4 clubs (52 total, with 48 licensed) then that means 3 fixtures and 1 bye for the 7 qualifiers.
You are spot on

Anybody know how many of the teams with lights own their own parks and installed the lights themselves, as opposed to having it done by local authorities?

Was it not in the Juniors that clubs had a week to lodge a protest? In many ways I feel that the Juniors were far better run than this so-called 'Senior' Association. Anyone else agree?
Definitely not!!
EOS been a breath of fresh air compared to the juniors.
One bad situation doesn’t define them.

Mental!
What is going on with all these ineligible players? Are clubs deliberately playing these or is there some miscommunication over suspensions or player signings and availability?
There's been so many across the EoS this season.
What I don’t understand is why it has taken five months to work out that Craigroyston played an ineligible player. We’re almost three weeks on from the end of the League campaign and the relegation picture is changing again.
2 -
It’s all change again!!
Craigroyston have now been deducted six points for playing ineligible players in two games in January.
They are now relegated again and Edinburgh United have been reprieved.
