So Edinburgh United now relegated.   The amount of points deductions this season is embarrassing, particularly in the Premier.

I saw that Edinburgh United had been deducted points but didn’t realise that put them in the bottom three. There hasn’t been any announcement from the EOS about them being relegated which is strange.

I believe there will be an increased emphasis on scrutinising team lines next year as the league have said there are far too many ineligible players and mistakes being made on teamlines.

  2. An absolute sickener to lose to a last minute penalty.

In truth despite being in the ascendancy for most of the second half the Saints didn’t trouble the Pace goalkeeper.

But to lose to another of these ridiculous handball decisions is hard to take. I’m  having a go at the rule not the match officials but the ball drops between two players and hits our boy on the hand at point blank range. Absolutely nothing he could do about it.

Well, that’s how it appeared in real time. I’ll need to see the replay(Dunipace we’re filming it).

  3. Newtongrange 1 St Andrews 2

A Lewis Sawers penalty in the dying minutes of extra time make it four wins away to first division opposition in this years King Cup.

Glenrothes, Rosyth, Camelon and the Star have all been dispatched and now it is Dunipace who stand between us and our first cup final as a senior side.

Wednesday at 7.30pm for what should be a cracking tie.

Surely any attempt to shoehorn the new 5th division would need all league clubs to vote for it? If so, I’m sure St Mirren will vote against

The plan is for the Conference League to be run as a separate entity outwith the SPFL. That way the SFA can set it up without it going to a vote of the SPFL clubs.

Whitburn and St.Andrews win again and are surely on their way to the 1st Division .

Massive clash between them in northern Fife at the end of this month .

The game has been moved to 13th May and we are now playing our King Cup QF on the 29th.

It wasn’t a good performance on Tuesday night but we’ll take the three points. Hopefully we’ll be better at Tweedmouth on Saturday.

Sounds like rumour based on national conference happening

The new abomination(sorry conference) League is not due to come into force until the season after next so it won’t affect any promotion places this season.

I’ve not heard anything to suggest that the second placed team in the Third division won’t be promoted.

Super though not unexpected result, the way WW have been playing recently.

Just a pity the fixture made you choose between club v country playing at the same time.

Do clubs in all the leagues from the SPFL down get a say on fixture clashes on international dates?

All clubs were told they could move their games to the Friday night, Sunday or even midweek.

I was gutted as I have a season ticket for Scotland but St Andrews it was. Still I’ll be at Hampden for a scary game on Tuesday night.

Camelon play St Andrews this Saturday - St Andrews beat Syngenta 2-0 earlier in the season - hope he has a Plan B

Most of the guys who played for Syngenta against us in august are cup tied.

Camelons team for Saturday will feature the remaining members of their squad plus some under 20s. The youngsters weren’t needed last night as no one was cup tied in the league cup.

Can we not just cut the grass, give them their own pitch back and pretend this never happened?

It’s actually heartbreaking seeing it still there not being used for anything. That plan looks like Fleet Grounds 2.0. If they are lucky they might get a Bothwellhaugh-type setup eventually which would be decent enough but looks a long way away

I can’t understand why they weren’t allowed to use the ground until Lidl were ready to build their new store.
