Honestly can't think of many worse decisions than giving Hammell a 2 year deal. He's been great for us but the last few years he struggles to put any run of games together without his legs coming off.
Out of those who are out of contract really only McDonald merits an attempt to extend it. But there's no chance of that actually happening. Can see him shipping off to Australia like has been rumoured for a while now.
I seen someone on Steelmen Online ranting about the number of injuries we've had this season. I would probably say we've had no more injuries than anyone else in the league. We just happened to have injuries/suspensions to our entire first choice back 4 at the same time.
I would renew Lionel Ainsworth's contract because I love him and will be absolutely devastated when he leaves.
Willing to accept that there is absolutely no footballing logic involved in that thought process.
Played Zelda last night at my pals house and I am amazed at how good it looks. Even on the wee screen it looks amazing.
Frantically trying to see if I can afford to buy myself one now.
Yeah. I think big Ripley has/had the most clean sheets in the division.
I'd be happy if we stopped conceding so many. On current form Moult could score a hat trick every week and we'd still lose due to the suicidal defending we're employing.
Just had this pointed out to me on Twitter but it seems the Bury job's fucking made for him. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/bury-fc/transfers/verein/2413
30 players in by that count.
There's no difference between that challenge, McHugh's, Kiernan's or McDonalds. All got the ball first then followed through onto the man. There can't be a middle ground, it's either every one a booking, or every one a red.
If you open that up to football in general you could find literally hundreds of identical tackles that weren't red cards. I mean fair enough, he caught Cowie and it was a red. But there then needs to be consistency across the board where any tackle like that is a red card.
Dunno if it's down to the years of makeshift right backs (Hateley/Law/Kerr/Ramsden etc.) but I love Richard Tait. The guy's absolutely fucking class, and an absolute unit of a guy as well.
