  1. It's not about the match, it's not about the appearance money. The Rock's got a new football league to promote (March 30th) and WWE still have to get Raw a TV deal. Nothing to stop Rock turning up at Elimination Chamber and practice his pointing
  2. First some context: It has been said of Chris Jericho that he and his wife have an open relationship. So between wrestling, band, general celebrity, and wealth he is someone that at best has a reputation for casual relationships with younger women. One of the (in)famous ones in wrestling was him and Kelly Kelly https://whatculture.com/wwe/10-notorious-chris-jericho-urban-legends?page=9 Fast forward to the other week. CM Punk/Ace Steel's lawyer involved with the Brawl Out litigation has been doing media interviews. During one he said everyone involved is tied up in lifetime NDAs, except for Ace Steel's wife. In the twilight hours waiting for Santa Claus/building some elaborate Xmas present/getting pished. Jericho decided to dispute that on Twitter. He was a witness to it all and has never signed an NDA in his life. This led to a Christmas Day back and forth between Jericho and the lawyer. More significantly, Nick Hausman (a journalist seen as CM Punk's mouthpiece) asks Jericho on Twitter. "What about the NDAs you make other people sign?" Hausman would also do a podcast where he compared Jericho to Harvey Weinstein. In that there's stuff we don't know about that will come out one day. This had the internet go digging. They returned to Kylie Rae's departure from AEW back in 2019. She only worked one show. Quit just before the second and was seen as someone the company would build the Women's division around. It was a real surprise at the time. She has admitted to mental health and drinking problem. Which has allowed people to speculate the bigger spotlight was to much for her. The Jericho story was out back then. He invited her back to his hotel room under the pretence other people would be there. Turned out to be just be the two of them. Its two versions of events at that point and neither one has said anything publicly. Leaving the internet to fill in the blanks with all possible versions. She's the one person named by people as someone either assaulted by Jericho or a victim of him abusing his position of power. Then prevented from talking about it due to an NDA. For some this is seen as the tip of the iceberg, there's more than one such story. They're all just in NDAs or not willing to talk about someone so high profile. Which is why there are no other names. On the Jericho side it was a misunderstanding or he tried it on and got turned down. There are no other names because they don't exist. Leaving Kylie Rae caught in the middle of it all. Possibly hampered by an NDA with Jericho or AEW. She hasn't said anything. She responded to a tweet with a heart emoji and liked some other tweets. For AEW/Tony Khan this means there are questions over what was known at the time of Kylie Rae's departure, and if there have been any accusations made during Jericho's time in the company. Basically, how complicit are they in any cover-up.
  3. He's meant to have been a witness to the brawl at All Out. Outside looking in, he went from having his return built around his new faction against Punk/Pinnacle. Which at the the very least meant completing the trilogy of singles matches. To completely ignoring Punk this summer, and never acknowledged Punk's title.
  4. Emails going round saying the show is going back to the network here in the UK.
  5. It's not an extra burden. It's matched up with Junior Cup games and if it wasn't for that it would be matched up with Scottish Cup dates like it is in the South and EoS.
  6. It doesn't. That was a person's/LL Board opinion on how the membership was supposed to feel on the matter. We already know from a Tranent poster that the issue is being raised again and the last vote went 9-7. I don't think there's anyone that could correctly predict how a new vote would go.
  7. They mention increased promotion and relegation with Tier 6. Not the SPFL Playoff. No naivety there.
  8. Doesn't seem like it will be one of the recent WWE releases thankfully. If Nick Nemeth had a main event spot lined up he wouldn't be stuck in a 2003 timewarp when ex-WWE guys would end up in Puerto Rico for some pay days. Mustafa Ali's announced a ton of indie dates and probably has the best release/hype video since Mox's prison break. He'd be an asset for AEW or TNA. Smart enough to scoop up all the main event independent money and rebuild his reputation so he doesn't just have the ex-WWE label. And I don't think Matt Riddle was seen as a Devil candidate, but he's off to MLW. Adam Cole was the plan I have no doubt. Going for the masked man mystery and dragging out the ROH Tag Title situation to keep alive the storyline between MJF and Cole. Then they found out how bad the ankle injury was and the plan was buggered.
  9. I'd imagine so. Wouldn't want to just play the games and the response be to groundshare or intend to shake a magic money tree or crowdsource. At least they would have an action plan in place and working towards the goal regardless if their intention is to one day be promoted.
  10. It has been 5 years of Ian Maxwell's stint with the SFA. In the beginning there was some cover from the conflicted parties in the PWG, but its been clear he hasn't done anything to progress the non-league pyramid since taking over. Quite the opposite.
  11. The Elite's deals were up this year. They re-signed. Bucks on the Swerve's podcast were talking about retirement as an option and what might be next for them. Kenny was (in)famously snapped playing cameraman for Don Callis and Konosuke Takeshita on the streets of Tokyo when they filmed the bit to attack Kota Ibushi. He seems happy enough moving into his New Japan Dad era eventually.
  12. The people putting this proposal together have asked them, and Rangers haven't said no. If it was a clear-cut decision they wouldn't have been included.
  13. Got any proof of that? Or have you just done what you wanted.
  14. I wouldn't expect one from CSS if I remember right. Last time this was brought up a club(s) tried to take relegation amendments off the table until there was as a change to the SPFL Play-off.
  15. Are they? Isn't it the exact same behind the scenes people like George Fraser and John Dods?
  16. The last vote in spring 2022 went 9-7. Bit of turnover since then: Bonnyrigg, Spartans, VoL, Dalbeattie out. Linlithgow, Albion Rovers, Tranent, Cowdenbeath in. It'd still struggle to get a majority but it'd be more than 3 for it.
  17. Existing LL playoff model and rules. 3 way playoff ranks 1-3 already. Top 2 promoted. If its considered good enough for 3 to 1. Why wouldn't it be for 3 to 2.
  18. What happened in 2020 to form the WOSFL could have happened in 2018 or 2019, but clubs chose to leave it upto the SJFA to pursue integration into the pyramid instead.
  19. Just wait for the blue carpet to be rolled out to get them back in. That's part of this. Rangers haven't confirmed what they are doing. Just wait for another 19 team league.
  20. I can. Spot gets used or it doesn't. No different than the the Sos/Eos era before the migration of clubs into the East.
  21. I was meaning to ask which rule changes passed or not.
  22. No, it doesn't. As there's the Highland League with 18 teams and doesn't even have 1 guaranteed promotion spot into it.
