  1. I'd imagine so. Wouldn't want to just play the games and the response be to groundshare or intend to shake a magic money tree or crowdsource. At least they would have an action plan in place and working towards the goal regardless if their intention is to one day be promoted.
  2. It has been 5 years of Ian Maxwell's stint with the SFA. In the beginning there was some cover from the conflicted parties in the PWG, but its been clear he hasn't done anything to progress the non-league pyramid since taking over. Quite the opposite.
  3. The Elite's deals were up this year. They re-signed. Bucks on the Swerve's podcast were talking about retirement as an option and what might be next for them. Kenny was (in)famously snapped playing cameraman for Don Callis and Konosuke Takeshita on the streets of Tokyo when they filmed the bit to attack Kota Ibushi. He seems happy enough moving into his New Japan Dad era eventually.
  4. The people putting this proposal together have asked them, and Rangers haven't said no. If it was a clear-cut decision they wouldn't have been included.
  5. Got any proof of that? Or have you just done what you wanted.
  6. I wouldn't expect one from CSS if I remember right. Last time this was brought up a club(s) tried to take relegation amendments off the table until there was as a change to the SPFL Play-off.
  7. Are they? Isn't it the exact same behind the scenes people like George Fraser and John Dods?
  8. The last vote in spring 2022 went 9-7. Bit of turnover since then: Bonnyrigg, Spartans, VoL, Dalbeattie out. Linlithgow, Albion Rovers, Tranent, Cowdenbeath in. It'd still struggle to get a majority but it'd be more than 3 for it.
  9. Existing LL playoff model and rules. 3 way playoff ranks 1-3 already. Top 2 promoted. If its considered good enough for 3 to 1. Why wouldn't it be for 3 to 2.
  10. What happened in 2020 to form the WOSFL could have happened in 2018 or 2019, but clubs chose to leave it upto the SJFA to pursue integration into the pyramid instead.
  11. Just wait for the blue carpet to be rolled out to get them back in. That's part of this. Rangers haven't confirmed what they are doing. Just wait for another 19 team league.
  12. I can. Spot gets used or it doesn't. No different than the the Sos/Eos era before the migration of clubs into the East.
  13. I was meaning to ask which rule changes passed or not.
  14. No, it doesn't. As there's the Highland League with 18 teams and doesn't even have 1 guaranteed promotion spot into it.
  15. Its at least 6. Albion and Berwick before the vote. Since the vote Rose, Shire, Tranent, and Bo'ness. None of them have said whether the proposal passed or failed so far.
  16. Seeing Shire and Rose saying they voted against the proposal tonight, but the way its phrased makes it seem the proposal may have passed and this is them distancing themselves from it.
  17. And how many rules have been changed since it was last asked?
  18. A response to Berwick Rangers statement from EKFC's manager. It's the lower league SPFL clubs that have continually fought this idea. Which is why its ended up at Lowland League level.
  19. That old chestnut. We can however have 17/18/19 team leagues for 7 seasons if the proposal goes through with the extension. While the league's counterpart in the Highland continues to exceed 16 teams just because.
  20. Going by the PDF its a guarantee for two seasons. Great how 16 teams (2 of whom might not be in the league next season, let alone the year after) get to decide something like this. Aye right!
  21. And you would expect the Chairman to break the tie in favour of the Colts again. As it was along the lines as being in the best interests of the league due to the money involved.
  22. Board will back it since two teams bring in 100k. 64k to the LL teams, leaving 36k to help administer the running of the league. Not like they'd get that from sponsorship. That's how they'd justify supporting the idea. As well as the usual benefiting Scottish football fantasy land nonsense.
