The American accent.
No exageration, the train to Edinburgh yesterday was full of them. Extremely loud and highly annoying. Ggrrr.
Just as annoying as the British accent then?

Also would Grammar not go to the actual FPs club?
Probably. I dont think we had a drink with them often.

Grammar would be the FP's (Former Pupils) club team... but Grammar would be the school for kids from the Queens Cross area, So doesn't mean much that most went to the school tbh.
Yep. For some reason i think it is Queens X that go there, as we only went 1 time. (we were only in the same grade as them 1 time)

Couldn't tell you tbh. I'd imagine Grammar as a lot of them went to the Grammar school, is there a link there?
Yeah, it is Abedeen Grammar Former Pupils. Both play at Harlaw park/next to Harlaw Park. (i think its called Harlaw park, it has been ages since i was there).

Aye, not a bad bunch of lads. Better than the ruggers anyway
Thatll be it. Is it the Queens Cross guys? Or Grammar?

I don't know anyone likely to be in the hospital.
I could maybe try PUTTING someone in there, so I'd have a reason.
See, if you hadn't killed dave by standing on him, you could have put him in hospital. You don't need to want to visit him, but it would be a reason to do something you want....

They've shown that on T4. It's total shite!
I have obviously disappointed you by refusing to visit 'The Dutcher'. If I ever happen to be in that part of town, I may pop in. If I can find a good enough reason to be out that part of town.
Mmmmm, let me see, the Hospital is up by there, and you could have been visiting someone. Instead of coming back down, you could visit it?

Disaster!!!
I got speaking to the neighbours for the first time since I moved in a few weeks back. I was working on the garden (which everyone else has neglected), and got chatting with them....borrowed a yard brush from them(an old couple), they went in for tea. 5 minutes later IVe snapped the brush!
Going to the garden centre pronto to buy a replacement.
See, i would take that as a sign from god that you are not to do yardwork.
Ive just found out that ESPN is covering the under 20s world cup. Unfortunately it is ESPN deportes, which i don't get

Having looked at the Transport for London Journey Planner, there's apparently 3 changes, and it takes just as long as the bus which only needs one (and seemingly takes me right to where I want to go)
Maybe, but buses face delays that the tube doesnt. You can probably get a pass for the whole 2 weeks you are there, which will work out cheaper.

The only thing that worries me is getting from South Clapham to the All-England Club - it's at least 2 changes by tube, so I'm planning to brave the buses......therefore I need the timetables sorted. After a couple of days I'll be sorted.
My second week is a piece of piss - Notting Hill to the All-England Club is only 25 minutes direct on the tube
The tube, even with 2 changes is a piece of piss. Its simple to get around. Dont brave the buses, stick to the tube.

This is still buggin' me. I'm really tempted to tell them all to shut the fcuk up about it but don't want to upset anybody in case it affects my leaving present
What do you mean leaving present? they will be trying to find a date to have the party. I mean they don't want to celebrate getting rid of you with you actually still there do they?

I am going to buy the series of books, I can't believe how much I enjoyed the film. My burd didn't like it.
so you are free of having to watch every single film with Jude Law in it then? (my wife is a huge Jude Law fan)

Stuff about talented Mr Ripley
There is a semi-decent sequal to it called Ripleys Game, with John Malkovich as Ripley.
Last films i watched was Last King of Scotland, Forrest Whitaker was brilliant, although i did have the comment "are all scottish guys horny b*****ds" quite soon into the film. 8/10
I also watched Dreamgirls, which was excellent if you are into musicals. If like me you arent really, it was ok. 6/10.

A grey squirrel has been digging up the plants in the tubs I stuck on the window ledge outside, clearly irritated that I hate their kind.
So you have the same problems with squirrels as me then. There are loads of squirrels at our apartments, and one day i was walking along, minding my own business when a piece of bread landed on my head. I looked up to see a squirrel staring at me, with a smile on its face.
I told my wife, and she didnt beleive me. A few days later, and we are both walking out when i got a piece of pizza crust dropped on my head.

For those that liked Zodiac, there is 1 or 2 other films recently on the same story.

Watched breaking and entering last night. It is Jude Laws latest film. The only good thing was i could call him a b*****d and not get glared at by my wife/look like a jealous husband. Girly movie shite, with a really shit storyline 1/10
Also watched Night at the museum. Good cast, pretty funny at times. nice enjoyable watch. 6/10.
Got Dreamgirls and Last king of Scotland lined up to watch the rest of the week.

Exactly my point America probably has even more Accents than British accents.
