  1. If you don't understand the stuff you type Tedi, then that explains pretty much everything. Care to have another go at revising the interpretation of the statement above ? Actually, don't bother. Your highly interperative and revisionistic style of posting says plenty. Unless your typing from inside a Smokehouse...
  2. A wee bit of help for you then Tedi. Try using the tried and tested "In my opinion" (Imo) or "I strongly suspect.." or "it's possibly/probably..." or any other similair pre-caveat to clearly differentiate what is meant to be "a theory" as opposed to laying out bullshit as fact. ? There's a good chap.
  3. Except...you didn't. Weighed right on in there with ..."all a ploy to allow them to postpone the EGM...." Daily Express banned if Glib and Shameless arrives I presume ?
  4. So... it's a lie then ? Fabricated story you say ? Never really happened at all ? Completely made up? That would be a story in itself no?
  5. Some contracts and other "sensitive" documents about to see their last airing ? © @GrayInGlasgow
  6. Just on Sportsound in the last five minutes WRK. Scotched the "Part-time-aggedon" scaremongering too by stating that Ross County are in NO DANGER of going part-time either. But then again, a well run club wouldn't would it?
  7. Not surprising to hear Roy McGregor clarifying his position with regard to the slant put on it by the written media this week. Needless to say the P&B mainstream had it right all along in that he was merely highlighting the difference in the perceived "value" of the game here as opposed to England and the fact that having basket cases like SevCo behaving in the way they have and an ineffective governing authority failing in its' duty is going to prevent this disparity from closing any time soon. Written press in misrepresentation shocker huh ?
  8. The gazebo for me....then the repost about an hour later with the Lawnmower man. A genuine coffee on the laptop moment...
  9. Will Ashley cash in his chips? Will Mr Tax Dodger take the marble staircase by storm via ra peepul power? (after coughing up a large wedge to the Essex boi) Will it be 'death before dis-honour ?' Or ..... Something even funnier? Ding ding!!
  10. Tbf, you should also post the couple of dozen pages following that comedy script to demonstrate how everyone BUT SevCo fans fell for such pish. And obvious pish at that.
  11. Now, you see what has happened here don't you? A "fan" of the troubled and forlorn outfit sees a statement that presents "his club" in a poor light. Rather than go to the bother of varifying or researching the veracity of the claim, it is easier to type out a wee smart arse reply in some weird attempt to discredit the initial statement. The reflex condition of the beleagured berr in a fuckin' nutshell. Replicated almost daily by the people who are good at demanding answers rather than finding them. No wonder the spivs love you.
  12. Absolutely. A clearer example of using his public position for "vested interest" I have yet to see. Hopefully he'll be out on his greedy arse come May.
  13. ...and, despite nearly THREE YEARS of continually being told that the would be saviours of the footballing entity are up to no good, the fatal arrogance/denial attitude prevelant amongst the support has allowed an arse-raping of previously unimaginable proportions to be perpetrated against "The People" ? Stop making such mugs of yourselves (yeah, I know), get realistic about your place in Scottish Football ( ), OPERATE WITHIN YOUR MEANS ( ) and compete on a level playing field ( ) then you just might find that the overbearing spotlight currently focused on Ibrox will turn elsewhwere - Hopefully on Doncaster, Reagan and Ogilvie. Tbh, the manner of the demise of this club has raised so much awareness of the dubious activities used to sustain superiority within the game that the level of trust and honesty lost is huge and is probably going to keep top clubs in the spotlight permenantly. No bad thing imho. So Rob, thanks. Thanks for your club bursting the cosy cartel you had going and allowing all us diddies the opportunity to confirm that things weren't right or fair or....honest at he top of Scottish Football as we had said. For a wee minute or two, we were beginning to think we were, as you (collective you ) liked to put it, paranoid. Turns out we were, and continue to be, right. Who'd a thunk it ?
  14. Top quality tears from the "spokesperson" of the vanquished Gummi Bears... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31004319?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter ...sounds like a call to arms to me as well.
  15. I honestly don't know. Their previous posturing and statements as "Rangers Men" certainly leaves them open to Ashley calling their bluff on it all. If they don't get involved then Ashley can do it all anyway. I still remain convinced that Ashley will have them become a domestically viable operation over the next 3/4 years. All on his terms, with or without the involvement of the now infamous "Rangers Men". Ashley will invite them, on his terms, to the table. Wether they accept or decline is going to tell everyone all they need to know about their "integrity".
  16. A (partial) reminder of an earlier post given further credence by Ashleys' latest move: The Ashley Model: This Essex boi is a no nonesense, my way or the highway, corporate crocodile. Massive smile, bigger teeth. Yes, he is a money maker. No he isn't a "rangers man", in fact, as he has said himself, he is barely a "football" man (other than his support of Newcastle of course). But, he knows how to make something make money and for TIRFC, as an AIM listed Company, that is where the potential for success lies. No doubt Ashley sees profit, personal profit, in dragging this entity into the future as something resembling a sustainable football club, albeit at some initial cost to himself. However his "credentials" in the markets are, frankly, stratospherically more credible than Kings' and are therfore more likely to be able to convince the brokers and institutions to climb aboard at some point in the future, allowing him to reduce his own exposure over time. Sustainability. Over time. At DOMESTIC level. That's the new world Berrz. It's where reality lies in all honesty. Mike Ashley is tying up the commercial package quite effectively. Should the Bears all go off on a boycott of merchandise he simply pulls the plug - properly this time, no favourable Administrator. The only buyers at that point would be T3B, King or a Sarver type. The price tag for getting all of that back will be eye watering even to them. Or... The bears have their tantrum, go to their room and, when they've all calmed down, find that Ashley is setting them up to be of a suitable Scottish Premier League standard outfit. Competing on a much lower fiscal platform but still competing with Celtic/Aberdeen/Hearts/Dundee Utd etc. The "Direct" (sorry) result of that being the continued puchasing of the merchandise from the easy-to-please brigade more than making up for the we deserve better brigade. One other thought... Ashley could also consider that the commercial tie ups are sufficient and allow the likes of T3B to join the board and let them use their money to fund the playing side of the operation. No risk to him financially that way, and lets, perceived, "Rangers Men" to bring the on-field success that will help drive his retail profits. Rangers were all about success at any cost in the past after all. How's that bill looking now Berrz?
