Bowling For Soup and Less Than Jake co headliner tonight. Both bands put on fantastic, singalong shows. All the hits, loads of banter. A really good show all round. Opened by Vandoliers who made a great impression too.

I saw Pearl Jam in Manchester back in 2012 and it was an amazing show. I'm glad I've gotten to see them. I have neither the funds, annual leave or will to travel this time around. Maybe next time.

Happy Spring Training day everyone. I know it's only one game today, but we're back!

James Acaster at the Edinburgh Playhouse tonight. The wife got these tickets as a Christmas present and I wasn't sure what to expect given I know he's not everyone's cup of tea. He was excellent. On stage for over two hours and consistently funny. Really won me over.

Really looking forward to this one. The new tracks are absolute bangers.

The title and promotion race in this division will go right down to the wire. About half the league has a genuine chance of going up. A lot of football still to be played and a lot of excitement to come in the next few months

For some reason when the water of the flat next to mine is turned off, ours goes off as well. Unfortunately next door is having work done to their kitchen. So my water is off. Gone over and spoken to the guys and obviously they didn't know it was the case (why would they? It's a terrible system) and they'll turn it on as soon as they can. Still annoying.

Anyone follow College Baseball? My team the Washington Huskies had a dreadful opening weekend losing their first two with the third ending up being called a 3-3 tie after 17 innings. Hopefully have a better weekend upcoming.

Mother and father in law have decided not to visit this summer after all..

At least half of the books I consume are audio. I listen in the car, and I do a fair bit of driving so It's a great way to get through books. Obviously helps when the narrator is good, and I'm particularly fond of full cast ones.

Vale of Leven 2-1 Dalry Thistle. A firey and contentious game where neither side really got going. A tale of two late penalties as Ross Cameron cooly stroked away purs before big Evan Currie produced a cracking save to keep Dalry out. Finished 9 v 8, a busy afternoon for the referee.
