    Soapbox at a sold out King Tut's tonight. Fantastic show. Manic energy, spiky, catchy, meaningful songs. What a brilliant live band. Support from Junk Pups who were excellent and Demo who were pretty decent.

    A lot of it has to do with the manager. Pedro is failing in so many regards, and it seems the better players aren't playing for him. I used to be a regular, but don't see myself at another game while he's in charge.

    Absolutely hilarious pick from the Falcons, utter head scratcher, no idea what they were thinking. Penix and Nix are both very good college QBs, but I didn't see either of them as top 10 draft picks. Looked to be some laugh last night!

    Jawbone by Mònica Ojeda. Superb. Lyrical and poetic and genuinely chilling and haunting. A fantastic translation ad well, which really seemed to capture the spirit.

    A lot of really nice grounds, midges can be a problem, especially at Aberfoyle, which I will never go to watch another game at, was unbelievable the night I was there.

    Red Side Story by Jasper Fforde We've been waiting a long time for this book and it doesn't disappoint even a tiny bit. Brilliantly written, funny, tense and a hugely satisfying ending.
