  1. The Union Underground - Turn Me On Mr Deadman
  2. Biffy Clyro - All the Way Down, Chapter 2
  3. Judas Priest at the Hydro tonight. Absolutely brilliant. The new songs already sound like classics and the classics are classics for a reason. Great show. Support from Saxon, who were absolutely superb and Uriah Heep who were really good despite only getting 20 minutes.
  4. I had totally missed that Tommy McAvoy had passed. Thoughts and prayers etc etc and delighted to be on the board.
  5. Dream Theater - A Change of Seasons
  6. Donny Benét at Room 2 tonight. Not my usual type of music, but a really talented band and great songs. Had a really good night. Support from Getdown Services who were the most bizarre act I've ever seen. 3 hours later I'm not sure if they were amazing or terrible, but I certainly enjoyed their weirdness.
  7. Vale of Leven 1-2 Girvan. A disappointing one today but we'll move on to another big one next week.
  8. Really excellent Pilsner from the guys at No Limits.
  9. The Only One Left by Riley Sagar. Absolutely dreadful. Convoluted, too many nonsensical and obvious twists, a dearth of likeable characters. Really no plus points at all.
  10. Mrs fae the Vale loves a Scotland game. She's not Scottish by birth, but has fully adopted us as her nationality.
  11. My wife was tasked with getting tickets for the Croatia game yesterday. She was less than complimentary about the new system, but we did end up with the tickets.
  12. It might grow on me, but I'm not initially a fan of that.
  13. Children of Bodom - Angels Don't Kill
  14. Just don't have the funds to book Machine Head right now, which is a bit of a bummer. Hopefully some tickets left when I can afford it.
  15. Papa Roach - Between Angels and Insects
  16. Booked Larry Dean at the Beacon in Greenock for September. He was brilliant doing a 25 minute set at the Glee Club last year, so looking forward to a full hour from him.
  17. Less Than Jake - Help Save The Youth Of America From Exploding
  18. I had no idea Scott McKenna had signed for Copenhagen.
  19. Tina Sandwich - Fast Cars and Movie Stars Delighted to showcase an up and coming local act!
  20. We Were Eight Years in Power by Ta-Nehisi Coates Really didn't enjoy this. Felt the author was self important and managed to make what should be interesting subjects really boring. I found myself drifting off several times. It's a shame as I was really interested in the content on the surface, the writing just didn't do it for me.
