  1. I’ve uninstalled it
Its awful with no sign of improvement
I can’t think of a single improvement this has on previous BF games. Everything just seems like a total downgrade
I'm sure all or most of the bugs will be sorted over time. Same with the overpowered vehicles and lack of guns. The main issue I have is the ditching of the class system and the introduction of the specialists. Just doesn't play or feel like a battlefield game anymore and that's something they can't change.

Went back and played Battlefield 1 last night after several months away from the game and had an absolute blast. I'd forgotten just how good it looks and plays
  2. It is really poorly worded. i get it is just a controller for the iphone and I know you need to buy the game pass but it just sounds strange the will allow you to play xbox games without forking out the money for an actual console.
just interested to see if anyone has played xbox/playstation games on their phone and what the quality was like.
Regarding Xbox it'll be the cloud streaming service that'll you'll be using so it'll come down to how fast your internet connection is. Due to lag you're going to be at a disadvantage if playing multiplayer fps and such like, however single player games appear to work very well. If there's a company that's going to make streaming games a reality then it's going to be Microsoft due to the huge resources it can throw at it.

Xbox are really pushing gamepass and are looking to incorporate the service into new tv's/tablets. There business model is that they don't really care what device you are using as long as you're subscribed to there ecosystem. They see huge untapped potential in countries that don't necessarily have a tradition of console use.
  3. I dunno if I'm just showing my age (36) or the petrol pumps are more sensitive these days, but in my youth I used to always get it to stop on the :00.  Now it's very rare that I do.
Nothing to do with age and everything to do with the price of diesel/petrol nowadays. The counter spins that quickly that it's frigging impossible to stop it on the zeros
  4. As far as I gather these are the symptoms so far for the Omicrom variant that were observed in South Africa in males under the age of 40.
Dr Angelique Coetzee - Pretoria - has see mainly double vaccinated patients.
    Fatigue
    Headache
    Aching body
These as very very mild symptoms if double vaccinated.
Very few people coming into hospital.

2828 new cases confirmed on Friday in South Africa.
    Soweto -
    https://www.pbs.org/newshour/health/south-african-scientists-brace-for-wave-propelled-by-omicron
Variant affecting younger unvaccinated and half vaccinated people in their 20's and 30's with moderate to severe symptoms.
    some in intensive care.

So yes the current vaccines work against this new variant, yet this evidence is being ignored in the UK. Not the first time we look down our noses at another country.
The Governments will know for sure in a couple of weeks time how severe this potential new wave could be. If it seen to affect unvaccinated younger people with more severe symptoms than previous variants then it might just motivate those to finally get vaccinated.
With our high vaccination levels in Scotland I don't think we should be punching that panic button or increasing restrictions, they make no jot of difference and will only tip more people over the edge with their livelihoods and mental health. The country is in enough of a mess as it is and we need time now to repair the damage and get back on our feet, if our government will let us.
I think the uptake of the vaccines in South Africa is only around 40%. If the new strain is going to be a cause for concern for the unvaccinated then we're going to find out pretty soon
  5. That means it's awready been here for some time, should be good thing as the sky hasn't fallen in & a sign to simmer the f**k doon but we all know it won't
Pretty much spot on. Get the feeling this has been doing the rounds for a few weeks. If the symptoms are as mild as being reported then this can only be a good thing
  6. Was really enjoying my time with Forza Horizon 5 when Microsoft dropped Halo Infinite MP a month earlier than expected. Forza now on the back burner. 343 Industries have really nailed this one. Appreciate Halo isn't everyone's cup of tea but if you're a fan of the series this one is right up there

  7. Aye it does read as victim blaming, especially given the other cases. In that case aye, it's fair enough and seems pretty straightforward a case of discrimination. Shocking too, in this day and age
The news either didn't make much mention of the other cases or I've made an arse of this.

It was covered extensively by the local press (The Courier and Evening Telegraph) at the time, not so much nationally.
  8. My mum was hesitant and when she went for her appointment she was told it was AZ or nowt so she got it. Now she doesnt want a booster because shes not comfortable having had two AZ and now something else. They should have allowed people with AZ concerns to have one of the other ones. Absolutely bizarre when they were harking on about vaccine hesitancy yet didnt give people an alternative other than "nowt"
    Didn't happen.

Every imagined scenario you've made up over the last 18 months on this thread has been fucking laughable, all for some green dots from Oaksoft, Tod Is God, and Elixer. Utterly vomit enducing
  9. Coming back  from work today the traffic was really slow A couple of minutes later we found out why It was 2 black horses pulling a glass carraige with a coffin in it heading to the cemetery Have never seen this before  apart from on tv
There's one in Dundee that does the rounds on a fairly regular basis, spotted last week.
  10. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/crime/brian-laundrie-found-parents-remains-b1942807.html
No-one comes out of this looking good. His parents are going to have a lot of questions to answer.
Didn't realise it was the parents that found his belongings, and on the first day the park was opened up to the public as well. Surely they wouldn't be that obvious/stupid? Think this case has a few more twists and turns to come
  11.
    That's damnable.
Certainly not the kind of behaviour you would expect to encounter in St Andrews. Presumably this was reported to the police?
It was, group of English guys up to play golf. Police traced them back to a hotel in St Andrews. Hopefully charges will be brought.

Paramedics attended at the scene but my son refused to go to hospital. Spent the next two days throwing up before telling me what had happened. I just thought he had a hang over!

Raced him down to ER as soon as he told me what had happened (got first aid training so know how serious throwing up is after a head injury). He was so lucky, amount of pain he must of been in before telling me doesn't bare thinking about.
  12. I've never been in a fight in my life. Hopefully it stays that way, I couldn't fight to save myself.

My son got into bother in St Andrews a few weeks ago. Not long 18 he had met up with friends and were heading out for a night before heading for university. Group of middle age men started on one of the girls who were out with them. My son and his friends tried to challenge them and they were knocked to f**k. Spent a week in the hospital, son got a fractured skull and a bleed on the brain. Thankfully he appears to have made a full recovery and I'm proud for what he and his mates did. Puts me to shame tbh.

  13. In regards to the "difficult winter" shit, why does nobody bring up that the flu killed more folk in 1989 than the covid FiRsT wAvE!!! Albeit I was only 4 at the time but I dont remember the country shutting down and politicians and MSM shitting the bed. Simpler times when a respiratory virus was treated as such [emoji849]
Genuine question. Are you a fucking idiot?
  14. Yes it seems the kickback against the organisers decision is well under way. Think both are run by the round table so perhaps using this as a convenient get out although no idea why.

Think we're going to see a lot more of this kind of thing from local authorities in order to cut back on costs. Covid is going to have to do a lot of heavy lifting

  15. Find myself in agreement that if Police are afforded protection in the form of the greatest sentencing deterrent available, they should be subject to the same if they do something as hideous as this c**t using the fact that they are Police as part of their MO.

That was my take when reading the judges closing statements although he went down a different route in justifying the life tariff. If it's an automatic life tariff for killing a police/prison officer then by f**k it's a life tariff for this c**t!
