Just received an email from Microsoft to say that I've been selected for the Halo Infinite Flight which is being launched this weekend. The Flight is basically the online beta version of the game and allows 343 Industries to check for bugs and receive community feedback prior to release. Will be interesting to see how it plays as I was a massive fan back in the day

I suppose it could be anyone of those things you mention in a minority of the cases. The majority, however, will be people who are just not very good at swimming. Wild swimming and swimming in a heated pool are two very different things. Throw alcohol into the mix which increases risk taking and you've got a recipe for disasterI know that but what specifically goes wrong? I am hearing it’s either getting into a cold spot and their bodies going into spasm or them getting a shock and breathing in too much water and also people saying there are undercurrents. It’s clearly a huge issue across the U.K. as it’s about 25 people dead this weekend.2 -

The HDMI cable you got with the S is absolutely fine.
I’m all good with the HDMI yeah? I’m seeing conflicting things about the type of hdmi and their respective capabilities to output higher Hz compared to DP.

The cable with the Series S and X is actually the HDMI 2.1 which is an upgrade from your standard 2.01 -
Head over to YouTube once your monitor arrives as there might be a couple of settings you need to turn off before 120fps can be enabled. I had to turn off the HDR and freesync settings on the monitor before being able to max out the fps

You're fine with HDMI cable. I've got the series x and made the jump to a 1440p 144Hz monitor a couple of months ago. Running games at 120fps is an absolute game changer.I have a series S but I’m not entirely sure I’m getting the most out of it. I have a 4K 49” curved Samsung TV; it’s capable of HDR output, and games look fantastic on the console, but my tv isn’t capable of 120hz. If I were to get a monitor capable of 120hz, would an HDMI be capable of that or would I need a displayport > hdmi adapter?1 -

The way to prove the vaccines work is to just count the hospitalisations and deaths, and you don't need to test perfectly healthy people to achieve that.

Nah, the way we prove the vaccine is working is by testing people. If we can show the virus ripping through the population without people dying or being hospitalised then this shit show is overAnd there is part of the problem right there.
Perfectly healthy symptom-free people getting tested "to be on the safe side".
