Still loads of rumours going about but apparently up to 124 players can play on current gen and pc. Could be absolute carnage

This season is going to be absolute filth or a fucking disaster, no middle ground! And I'm absolutely here for it

Check online to be sure it plays the games you have but series x is backward compatible with a huge amount of 360 gamesGame are doing some pretty decent prices for a Series X if you trade in an old console.
I've half considered trading in my One X for a Series X, but I still have a lot of backwards compatible 360 games on disc I'd like to play.

Congrats guys!
From a purely selfish point of view I would much rather you'd stayed down as Dundee is a great away day.
Enjoy your night, hopefully the Pars can join you in a year's time.3 -
I think we're now getting into the age groups in which a significant minority will be leading fairly chaotic lifestyles, particularly in deprived areas. People with drug/alcohol issues are going to be far less likely to turn up.for appointments. It.would be interesting to know if people turning up who are obviously under the influence would actually get vaccinatedIllness, work, drop off/pick up from school, other appointments. There's plenty of genuine reasons that someone couldn't make it in. When I said the helpline number they give you is a nightmare I mean it is at times impossible to get through to and it appears that the advice they are giving out isn't exactly helpful.
That being said I would say that a vast majority of the people not turning up are either people who don't want the AstraZeneca which they've changed over to in Dundee today, or folk that just can't be arsed turning up.0 -
Also anti vaccine. Deserve f**k all attentionThere was a freedom march in London earlier, opposing lockdown and vaccine passports. Thousand of people there yet there was no mention of it on the BBC news website. They were quick enough to have reports on those protesting the ESL, quick enough to show "covidiots" on beaches. Why not show people protesting these draconian measures? Oh that's right it doesnt fit the narrative0 -
Decided to invest in a monitor for my series x that supports 1440p at 120 Hz seeing as my tv is a bit crap. Holy f**k! What a difference. From the picture quality to the lack of input lag it is the best £300 I think I've ever spent.
Really need something like this to unlock the potential of these consoles0 -
India heading the same way as Brazil by the looks of it

Out walking the dog at the weekend and got chatting to a nurse who works in the IC wards in Aberdeen. She mentioned that they are already booked in for there boosters in September

More positive news coming out of Israel

Sake! We're going to have to keep on wearing masks for all the cigar smoke aboutYes I do, tbh.
Johnson will push ahead with the vaccine passport nonsense in the short term, as a token gesture to those who think it's "too soon" and, as was noted above, a last chance to give a friend a dodgy contract.
Before quickly ditching them once it's shown the vaccines really do fill the room with cigar smoke despite the rolling back of masks and distancing.3 -

Main stages probably not, but you've also got the dance tents and other venues that might pose some issues. Also have to think about people camping/sharing tentsIs there actually much risk of mass gatherings at outdoor festivals during the height of summer, when infection rates then are totally negligible anyway? I'm not convinced there is.0 -
That's the deal I went with, exceptional value for the money. Its only Game and Smyths that are offering the deal. Might be worth trying Smyths where I got mine. They didn't have any consoles you could buy outright but I was able to sign up for ultimate access and had the console delivered in two days. Not sure if they are deliberately holding back consoles for the deal or notPlanning on getting the X however don't have a spare 4-500 quid at the moment.
I see you an get the pay monthly deal for the Series X for £28.99 a month which includes the game pass for 2 years. I pay £10.99 a month at the moment for that anyway so £18 a month for 2 years with no interest seems good for the console itself. Just waiting for availability.
Anybody else went for that option?1
