It's why the thing that matters is not or shouldn't be "A Conflict of Interest but a perceived or apparent Conflict of Interest. Maybe the money was just resting in your account but it doesn't matter you're the fucking chancellor and you should be able to handle your private live without it looking like you're fucking at it.

And another thing, you can argue the toss, strongest possible emphasis on the word "toss", about how covid was managed but Dishi was the chancellor who presided over the largest theft from the public purse in history, during the worst public health crisis in 100 years. Billions empty into the pockets of private contractors (and donors) to deliver a test and trace system which bypassed local public health teams and delivered nothing. And further billions spunked into the filthy mitts of their cronies for desperately needed equipment, that would have been stockpiled and available had they not outsourced the storage or sold off the reserves, that was substandard,, unusable, and priced massively over even the ludicrously inflated market rate and cost lives. It's beyond grotesque. It's one thing to f**k up a national calamity but he was in charge of the dough when the motherfucking carrion feeding c***s treated this disaster like it was a money making Christmas, Hogmanay and Diwali all rolled into one. Get any feeble minded misplaced fawning gratitude for keeping some people businesses above water with one hand while he let his pals fist and then rip the guts out of the public purse with the other, so so very far to f**k.

The UK is the world's sixth largest economy and it can't feed its own kids. Let's not forget it took Marcus Rashford to make the case for free school meals to the "hero of Furlough." Actually, maybe that's not quite right. The UK is the worlds sixth largest economy and it could easily feed its kids, if the c***s in charge chose to do so. But they don't. f**k Rishi Sunak, and f**k the UK. A midden state awash with wealth that has kids eating imaginary food out of empty lunch boxes, while a multi-milliomaire b*****d dwarf gets appointed to tell us tough times are ahead. f**k. Off.

What is the point of Labour ?
williemillersmoustache replied to pawpar's topic in The Politics Forum
Yes you did but they were nonsense as the crux of the argument is that you cannot put a rizla between the tories and labour on immigration. You refute this and yet the leader of the Labour party agress. So which is it? Is Keir right to say the British Labour party and the Consertvative and Unionist party almost idenitcal when it comes to immigration? or Are you right and Keir either doesn't know his own policy position as well as you or is just bullshitting for effect and to gain the votes of racsts? -

The spineless, cretinous, sphincter-rimming human-tongue has now bravely backed Rishi. Rishi, a practicing Hindu will believe in reincarnation and no doubt in his household the children are taught to be honest and good people lest in the next life they come back as Douglas Ross. -
Remember when Sarah Smith said that the FM was enjoying the Pandemic and she was instantly removed from broadcasting and after a 18 month long investigation by Ofcom they immediately responded to the findings with action instead of just ignoring them? Tory TV.

David Mundell irritatingly reminding me he exists by endorsing Rishi and not apologising for backing Truss or explaining why we should give a tiddly f**k who or what he endorses after the roaring atomic bin fire of his last nomination. -

But he so carefully explained Labour's position on immigration last week and definitely didn't just pluck progressive sounding words out of his arse. -

What a fucking, and i am choosing my words carefully and advisidely here, taking into account my own views, needs and wants and the wider economic and demographic context the UK finds itself in, b*****d fucking turncoat c**t. -

Make racists vote Labour again. Not quite on the same level as the tories but you'll struggle to find a more duplicitous, dishonest and obviously venal, self centred on gaining power at all costs, positon in UK or world politics. A disgrace. A cowardly shameless fuckfaced disgrace. -

It would be interesting, as they would have to properly register themselves in Scotland and one would hope, Scotlands new electoral commission would be a fair bit more rigorous about foreign influences, so they couldn't have anything other than very informal ties with the mothership down south. -
He 100% didn't have the numbers. The "I could have been your last but one and next PM but I've decided that there are more important things than me" is just the most Trumpian bollocks. On the one hand, good. The fucker is totally unfit for office but on the other, the next couple of years will be a nightmare for the UK government and he'll raise his cunty fluffy head when it goes tits up again, as it most assuredly will. Sunak will be PM. Hunt will stay as chancellor and the fuckers will impose a new brand of Austerity and do their utmost to hold on for the maximum 2 years before a GE. They will be a significantly more competent government but the external and internal pressures will be immense. Sunak is not loved by the right of the parliamentary party and not liked by the membership. The energy crisis, the cost of living, the pending mass industrial action, new elections in Northern Ireland, regular rebellions from the lunatics on the backbenches and so on will push them hard but I can't imagine a situation where they'll just admit defeat and call an election. Buckle up, this will be as bad as the Trussition period we've just had, except longer and without the inevitable impending collapse to look forward to in the short term.

VAR in Scottish Football

VAR in Scottish Football
williemillersmoustache replied to Les Cabbage's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Reckon Miovski will get more goals now. His opener was a clear 2 yards onside and I reckon he's been wrongly flagged a few times. Most of the decisions VAR made this weekend were correct and I do expect the process to getting to those decisions will improve but at Tynecastle in particular the 3 minute waits were ludicrous. Nick Walsh looked completely out of his depth but that's not a new thing. -

Shocked to learn VAR hasn't solved the issue of Nick Walsh being a cretin.
