  1. I've said before that the SPFL clubs should agree to a 14 or even 16 team league and then tell Hearts they're still in the Championship - there must be both promotion AND relegation.
  2. Wonder how long it would have been before the SPFL and SFA awarded 'Airdrie' all those Rangers leagues and cups.
  3. Have the site devs hidden the Bears Den forum http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/ from those not of a Rangers bent?
  4. I did. But I found those Heinkel controls a bugger - pulled to the right.
  5. If 9 Premiership clubs go into liquidation due to CV-19, do all current Championship sides get 'promoted' to fill the gaps, leaving Hearts to play against the current League 1 clubs?
  6. Jumping the lights, Twinkle. I like it - hope the club do the same.
  7. How can they vote to call the league as it stands and then sue later?
  8. LADBROKES PREMIERSHIP AND SPFL SEASON 2019/20 CURTAILED PREMIERSHIP CLUBS REACH UNANIMOUS AGREEMENT THAT TOP FLIGHT CANNOT BE FINISHED The SPFL has today announced that, following consultation with all 12 top-flight clubs, the Board of the SPFL has determined that the 2019/20 Ladbrokes Premiership has been concluded with immediate effect. As with the Ladbrokes Championship, Ladbrokes League One and Ladbrokes League Two competitions, final season placings have been determined by points per game in league matches played to 13 March 2020 by each club. The decision means that Celtic are crowned 2019/20 champions and Hearts have been relegated to the Ladbrokes Championship. The final placings in full can be seen below: https://spfl.co.uk/news/ladbrokes-premiership-and-spfl-season-201920-cur
  9. Thanks, craigkillie. That's new info for me and puts a whole new complexion on their argument. I wonder whether the SPFL clubs were fully aware of the implications of their resolution. I still think that, if this ever gets to court, the judge will dismiss it as being an insurmountable problem during the pandemic.
  10. For one dreadful moment, I thought I was posting in my sleep.
  11. Reconstruction needs a vote - a vote that has already failed once an would probably fail again. Calling the league and relegating Hearts (because they're bottom) only needs the SPFL Board to make the call. Nothing to do with 'fairness'. You can shout about reconstruction but, if the other clubs don't want it, then it's not going to happen.
  12. If Hearts had a knack of scooting up the table in the last few weeks of the season, then I'd have some sympathy for them. But to argue that they were suddenly going to turn things round in the last quarter of the league is just non-justified pish. Imagine if the final round of the Open was washed out and Poulter was to say it's unfair because his final rounds are always his best!
