Heart of Midlothian 2014-

Is Wighton so bad you want to get rid of him twice? -
Holy f***! I see Morrison’s have changed the name of Brussels Sprouts to Lincolnshire Sprouts! WTF is Wrong with these clowns. Just like the morons on the other side of the Atlantic when they changed French Fries to Freedom Fries when France refused to get involved in Iraq. What a f***in red neck

The Champions League game between Slavia Prague and Inter Milan showed everything that is wrong with VAR. Inter scored and were celebrating going 2-0 up when VAR intervened to award a penalty at the other end to Slavia. Goal disallowed and Slavia scored the penalty. Inter went from the joy of a 2 goal lead to being 1-1 in the space of 30 seconds! In Scotland, games involving either of them could last hours while VAR analyses every ball into the box when either need an equaliser/winner. No thanks. The present incompetent refs are still better than that

Brexit slowly becoming a Farce.
CambieBud replied to John Lambies Doos's topic in The Politics Forum
40 Labour MPs abstained ffs. Including 2 shadow ministers.! Other than self preservation, how is that possible. The very point of Labour is supposed to be about internationalism -
Spot on. They don’t seem to see the irony of this. I agree completely that post independence they could well be like the Swedish Socialists and be in power for decades

Go back 30 years and Scottish Labour had lots of political giants. Now they produce Kezia Dugdale and Richard Leonard. Any aspiring politician with left leaning views will join the SNP. Labour must leave the London based party and go it alone. New leader, new policies, particularly support for Independence or fade away into the sunset. In England the young were galvanised behind Labour in 2017 but not up here. The young are vastly pro independence and SNP voters. Labour will never appeal to them unless it changes completely to recognise this. I never thought I would see the day when the whole central belt would reject the party of Donald Dewer et al but have done and there is no way the present party will win that support back

I find the media inspired hatred of Corbyn depressing. He comes across as a principled honest bloke. Disliking policies is one thing, but the constant attacks on him personally are media driven. Boris gets an easy ride, despite clearly being a lying, unprincipled, semi coherent clown. The press and particularly the TV media made no attempt to attack him. My biggest problem with Labour, a party I was a member of as a younger man, is their inability to move with the times. Scottish Labour is in danger of going the way of The Communist Party unless it breaks from London and embraces the fight for Independence . The final straw for me was seeing Labour people on the same side of the argument as Tommy Robinson, UKIP, Farage, The Orange Order, BNP and the Tories in 2014. If that fact alone cannot change them then nothing will.

At least 4 dives by The Gruffalo and not one but 2 kicks at Ferguson? No booking by Beaton. Is that what you mean Benny? -

Do Rob McLean and that Cnut Alex Rae not realise it’s not Sevco TV they’re commentating on? By the way Morelos is still a wee obnoxious cheat -

Sorry for my ignorance but can any Broxburn fans out there give me a wee bit background to your club. Are you the ex junior team? Congratulations on your cup run. Any idea if there are plans to bring a few buses to Paisley for the next round. -

The Portuguese Blowbag will do what he always does. Spend huge sums and when it runs out, claim he wasn’t backed enough and receive a gigantic payout. Levy has made a huge error here

Hamilton’s time is up and I watched some of Ross county tonight who were truly awful. I genuinely think we will be nowhere near these 2 and Livingston come the New Year -

This was our heaviest defeat of the season so far. Our 1st two goal defeat. I agree with the chairman. We have a run of games in November and December against the teams around us and we will climb to mid table obscurity by Christmas -
