That is very true in some cases. Firhill can be an unforgiving place if you are out of form. I have never understood so called supporters booing specific players. The cheering when Zanatta got subbed last weekend was ridiculous. A guy, obviously low in confidence, is not going to get it restored when that happens. Two poor sides but a terrific result for us in the circumstances. Kakay clearly MOTM but no complaints about Gordon getting it with about 4 touches...lol. Bannigan is becoming a liability with his lunges and constant yellow cards in just about every game though I will need to see replays as it looked a bit harsh from JLS. Cole made a massive difference in the middle till he ran out of steam. Last 10 minutes were nerve racking but for once we didn’t lay down and capitulate. Was good to see a bit of heart at last from this side!!

Shankland and to a lesser degree Dobbie are the difference between most teams in this league. We are going to struggle until McCall can get us a half decent striker in. Will be difficult in January. Personally I would be sounding out Hibs for Olly Shaw. If you don’t ask you don’t get and despite Hibs current struggles he has only been on the bench for most games this season

McCall unsurprisingly not very happy on JZ. Pass marks only to Miller and Penrice. Without mentioning names he was unhappy about the amount of balls blootered from defence to attack. Also stated late injuries to Cardle and Mansell, both of whom would have started, upset things. Stated that the striking position is priority come January as we are so light up there. Also sounds like Miller has picked up a knock and is doubtful for Tuesday. Christ knows who will be up front

Agreed. Gordon is always capable of a goal but he completely disappears in games to the extent that you wonder if he is still on the park. De Vita should be shipped asap. O’Ware is another. Williamson is an attacking threat but defensively he is shocking. McCall needs to be as brutal as Caldwell was last January, maybe even more so! Losing at home to Arbroath, Dunfermline and QOTS and deservedly so, before October is out, is relegation material

It’s basically a 2 day service (Fri-Sat) unless we have a midweek game or a new signing. I don’t mind paying for it but we should be getting a helluva lot more for the £5.99. For starters how about an update/interview with Mitch Austin just to confirm he is still in the country also the manager should be interviewed every week rather than sending Archibald and Scally out to do the duties!

Agreed, the atmosphere was flat, which was surprising, given it was McCalls return and the result last week. I think it boils down to the fact that we just don’t have any players that can get you off your seat in anticipation and the two that come closest to doing that, Cardle and Zanatta, were very poor yesterday
