  1. Would frankly be a bit weird if yous didn't chief. It's a popular soundtrack to many/most of our games.
  2. He's potentially cost the club thousands of pounds through his absolute stupidity
  3. Absolutely needless to go flying into a tackle on the halfway line, especially after just being booked. Muirhead has single-handedly cost his teammates, the club and the fans and I wouldn't be arsed if he never makes another appearance.
  4. Can't win them all chief. For every Rikishi there will be a Torrie Wilson.
  5. And deny yourself the opportunity to see Kerrball in the flesh? Your loss chief.
  6. No real incentive for Ayr fans to buy in advance of matchday itself when there are weather warnings in place. Whilst I hope it goes ahead for the benefit of the St Johnstone fans (nothing like a big away day), I have no desire to see a repeat of the home game against Arbroath. Both teams deserve better than that.
  7. Our 228 wins against Morton to your 221 wins against us would suggest differently old bean. ETA: Maybe you should give him a chance. We didn't cry when we took your 'cast off' Lawrence Shankland. Cried even less when he came back to routinely pump you home and away.
  8. Somerset is undoubtedly a millstone round our necks as you would expect from a ground that was built during the same year that Jack The Ripper was terrorising London and Vincent Van Gogh was chopping his own ear off. I'm sure plenty would disagree but give me crumbling terracing and dive-bombing seagulls over seated 'luxury' every day of the week.
  9. This may sound stupid given the reasonable success of St Johnstone and the blatant lack of success at Ayr but I am incredibly glad we never succeeded in building a 10,000 seater stadium. See Airdrie and Livi as examples of what an absolute white elephant that would have been.
  10. Don't think Ayr fans are sharing the same excitement that St Johnstone fans are over this tie tbh. Can't see us having any more there than we had against Ross County.
  11. Will St Johnstone still bring 1,000 down to the Costa Kerr Bol if the game is on a Tuesday night?
  12. No surprise given the home form. Is the Ultras section in the tier above? On another note, 6 red cards in 20 league matches is some effort...
  13. Had VAR been in place throughout the last 15-20 years, we may well have got to a major tournament (Czech Republic game at Hampden being the most obvious refereeing clusterfuck). That being said, VAR is absolutely horrific and is ruining everything that is great about the sport.
  14. Wish I had know that as I was sitting cursing BT Sport for showing f****g French football instead. Will learn from this and go again.
  15. How are the crowds? Dwindling? Average of 28,560 according to a quick Google search but not sure if H96 are one of those clubs that go by tickets sold rather than actual fans through the gates.
  16. I think you'll find it is called Craig Tara, operated by Haven Holidays and has been since 1999. Jesus, keep up.
  17. Sydney Devine, Simon Neil, a slightly toxic beach and the Super.
  18. Ayr, like everywhere in Ayrshire, is absolutely riddled with Rangers fans. Wouldn't even say 'Old Firm' fans, it is just absolutely riddled by braindead Rangers 'fans' who take as much pleasure in Ayr getting beat as they do in Rangers winning. Ayr United's core fanbase is obviously Ayr and surrounding South Ayrshire. Anything from Girvan up to Troon is mostly Ayr (outside the OF) but Troon itself is a bit mixed between Ayr and Killie although it lies in South Ayrshire. Aside from that, the Aberdeen AUSC Quiz Night on Friday was seemingly mobbed, with a flag on the wall reading 'Kuala Lumpur - Ayr United' so Kerrball is evidently going global.
  19. Looking at the stadium plan, I struggle to believe the 38,000 figure. Still a long time to go though.
  20. When I started Uni in Glasgow, I made the heinous error of using the word 'haneck' because I had no idea that it wasn't used outside of Ayr/Ayrshire. Jesus Christ, never again.
  21. Would an Ayrshire Derby Playoff Final be the best spectacle that Scottish Football has ever seen? Not for me to say, but yes.
