With Miller & Morrison being closely marked, it allowed MacIver acres of room to play in. I thought him MOM, even having to go off early. His passing & awareness were excellent & it was by far his best display yet.

A hard earned 3 points against a stuffy Queens team who were well marshalled at the back by Ambrose. Obvious to see they weren’t afforded the same space that the Binos gave them last week. That the goal came off the only thing he never got a decent connection, & that Nesbitt’s quick reaction decided the game, says it all. Also a mention to the save the Queens keeper pulled off at his back post; the ball having screamed across goal with MacIver failing to make contact. Just how he managed to keep out Miller’s effort, at point blank range, was quite something.

First thing Ambrose didn’t manage to get a clean connection on. Luckily there was somebody sniffing on the loose ball!

How this ref managed to play exactly 45 mins in that half too, was astounding. Should have been 5 mins min added, due to stoppages, injuries, time wasting.

Realistically, where would Morrison go? He’s an above average player, in the Scottish 3rd division. I think he’ll keep his options open til the seasons end. Go up & he’ll stay, miss out & he’ll move up, & on, to a club in that division anyway. Only an offer from down South, with a serious increase in wages for the player, would see him move in the window. Otherwise, it will be a PCA, which could see him being dropped if it’s with another Scottish club, who won’t cough up. Those who would be interested, up here, are all skint.
