  1. I thought his answer on the NHS was good, knows his target audience (Scotland) and he stood up for the NHS here. Not much point the SNP wooing the good people of Kings Lynn.
  2. If this happens then the last 3 general elections have basically been the original Star Wars trilogy. 2015- Post losing Indy Ref, gain 56 SNP MP’s- A New Hope 2017- SNP lose a third of their forces and the Scot Tories come thundering into the reckoning- The Empire Strikes Back. 2018/19???- Big Eck returns to frontline politics to slay the evil Tories- Return of the Jedi.
  3. Oh don’t get me wrong PMQ’s is simply theatre to give the media gallery headlines. If we’re being honest we all like a bit of entertainment at times as well, don’t we? Corbyns poor performance (imo) in PMQ’s isn’t my bug bear with him, although it does from time to time highlight his ineptitude.
  4. Ian Blackford is on tonight in Kings Lynn. Haven’t watched in years and won’t see this one, as I’m travelling, but might check it out on the iplayer if it sounds like anything other than the usual nonsense.
  5. A building block in the case for an Independance Ref tonight with the ‘Claim of Right’ motion passed. The SNP Westminster group have had a really good few weeks- sticking to a plan hatched in the midst of their walkout. Keep it going!
  6. You’ve literally described him playing party political games and then given him credit for not playing the ‘Westminster’ game. Him not ‘sticking his neck out’ over Brexit doesn’t sound like a principaled anti Westminster guy to me. Eta. You’re correct May isn’t being let off the hook over Brexit but that’s got sweet f**k all to do with Corbyn.
  7. It’s nothing to do with him wanting to talk about anything other than Brexit then, no? Sound. As an opposition leader the man is completely useless.
  8. Seriously though, if we got £1 million for Cadden that would be incredible business by the club.
  9. Is this some sort of Moneyball' experiment that Levein is going for? I'm struggling to see what the f**k else he thinks he's doing. Doing it for the bantz? Good laugh and all that...
  10. If only they hadn’t signed absolute shite like Ryan Edwards they could have chucked a bit more Milinkovic’s way. Quite like Hearts as well but Levein is hilariously bad at footbally stuff.
  11. Andy Rose would still get the nod in front of him. At least he runs aboot!!
  12. Shout on Steelmenonline that the mystery midfielder is Ryan Gauld, obviously it’s not, but will be interesting to see if he ends up back in Scotland or sticks it out following Sporting’s meltdown. There was also an ITK type claiming Liam Henderson, which doesn’t even require comment.
  13. He’s the worst of the lot and that takes some doing. A truly troubled individual.
  14. Not only unconvincing but completely disingenuous as well. The 15 mins of ‘debate’ (Tory minister talking) on devolution was not only down to the UK Gov’s Timetable but also the Labour Party forcing 11 divisions in a row, 3 of which were over a dispute regarding 1 word I believe- and then abstaining on things left, right and centre. This left no time for anything else. Lab are just as complicit as the Tories in this. Westminster really is a horrible place to be at times. There’s been debate in SNP circles about their response to today’s events, I would expect a fiery PMQ’s tomorrow- it may even get interesting before that but who knows. Ian Blackford was also asked to consider suicide during his point of order by the MP for Brigdewater and I don’t think that can be left as is either tbh. A truly horrible place at times.
  15. I just watched back the CM Punk fight there. I’m a big fan of his but jesus I think even I could batter the guy. Absolutely useless at mma he is.
  16. Is advertising advantageous to the seller of a product, yes. Same rules apply. This really is simple stuff, not sure how anyone can argue the point.
  17. Absolutely agree with this bit. You see some absolute goons dressed head to toe in god knows what. However, events like these are completely necessary in building the momentum of a political movement/campaign. To not realise that is quite naive. Just ignore the fringe elements and hang around with the sound guys/gals.
  18. I’ve never been Loki’s biggest fan, in fact I think I described him as a ‘dick’ before QT. But he did well for himself on the show. You should give credit where credit is due.
  19. I’ve just jumped on the bandwagon tbh But it’s been levelled at Detournment on a number of occasions, none of which he/she has denied, I don’t believe, so that was good enough for me.
  20. I remember the game last season when you were at home to Motherwell and we had 3 guys sent off. I was very impressed with MOH that day, even before we were down to 10,9,8 he absolutely tore us to pieces down the wings. I’ve been quietly envious of the Saints for having him since then. Strikes me as about a 1 in 3 sort of player (maybe that’s incorrect) but that would more than do for me. Bring on the claret and amber pound.
