Mullin any good? he's now following us on Twitter which is normally a tell tale sign of a player about to sign.

The manager has to make sure it’s the right player for the required positions. Maybe I’m old fashioned. But hey I’m in the subset of Rovers fans that deserves ridicule eh??
Have you read todays FFP article? Murray's raving about having the additional help from Potter in terms of recruitment.

Who have they signed?
Exactly what I was about to say. From what I gather they've signed a boy they had on loan last season, basically what we've done with McGill and extended a few players contracts. They've probably done the same amount of business we have at the moment. However the belief that Murray is sitting at home twiddling his thumbs not interested in continuing to try and source players/extend contracts with us is hilarious, I'm sure he's doing what we he can whilst things rumble in the background.

Don't shoot the messenger, this is just what I've heard, but apparently we're looking to bring in someone from Livi (not sure if loan or permanent) - Isma maybe? Apparently he stays in Kirkcaldy now. We apparently tried to get Callum Smith from Airdrie and some boy from Celtic called Adam Montgomery but no such luck.

Didn't realise he was Ayr's 2nd choice keeper, my mistake.

In other news McAdams has turned down a new deal at Ayr and we're in the market for a keeper...

This surely can't have just came out the blue like this? Has Murray been unaware there was potential interest prior to discussing the re-signings of McGill and Connolly less than 24 hours ago? The fact a big club like Dundee, a team that need a fairly big rebuild and are now in the Prem, feel Murray is potentially one of the candidates to take them forward is quite frankly....mental.

Has anyone actually seen Dabrowski play? He's not exactly racked up the game time in his career so far so I'm a bit curious as to why folk see him as the preferred option.
I get the vibe people mention a name and others just jump on the bandwagon that we should sign them. I'd be terrible at player recruitment as there's names being banded about on Twitter of potential players we should look into that I've never heard of/seen.

Yes it was indeed a great day. Your whole squad imploded & you got pumped. DVD release surely?
Was about to say something similar. We can maybe look back on it and laugh but at the time I was fuming that Dougie Hill lost the plot the way he did.

Can't say anyone stood out from that Airdrie team last night that I'd be in any rush to sign.

Please sign Lewis Strapp, please put him on the bench and please bring him on on the 69th minute

How about asking the supporters which design is best? We could produce a few design possibilities and have an online poll. Most votes win.
Would be a good idea. Think East Fife did that for what ended up being their tartan'esque home top and think Morton did something similar in recent years.

New consortium not wasting any time, home dressing room renovations started already.

Sounds like it might’ve been Lewis Stevenson.
Had heard that also. Was apparently pretty much a done deal before Hibs decided to offer him a new contract.

Tell me about it, I've been trying for years to find the prem away one to complete the set from the glory years.
Think it was up on Ebay a while ago albeit without the sponsor on the front. Pretty sure the person selling it was looking for £150+ for it, crazy. I ended up using World Retro to reproduce a couple of the older tops namely the 94 away top, 89 home top and 92 home top. They done a superb job.

I loved the pink strip but seems like I was in the minority. Quite like the idea of us having a more outlandish away strip, though. Seen us have a boring one way too many times.
Agree. Always like it when clubs go radge with their away tops in terms of colour and style.
However...

I agree with this also. The 94 home and away tops are without a doubt my favourite tops purely because of the colour reversal. That and our Prem home and away tops.

On the topic of 50% off last seasons strips, and the assumption it means new strips are coming for the next campaign, hopefully the club have something planned similar to last season with an open day. Albeit a bit choatic at times it seemed a hugely successful day.

Our season was pretty mediocre. Think the most enjoyable period was the cup week where we beat Dundee up at Dens in the diddy cup semi final on a Tuesday night followed up with a 3-1 win at home against Motherwell in the Scottish Cup on the Saturday. Was good to see us score a couple worldies as well in other games. Apart from that though, a fairly unmemorable season for me.

A small thing in the grand scheme of things but if they are planning to refurbish the exterior of the main stand I hope they have plans to get rid of that boufing sky blue roof.

The Rovers Twitter? I don't do much Twitter'ing but someone on our thread saying he wasn't a couple of weeks ago and our new directors are now following him as well. Maybe I've done 2+2 and got 5.
