    I agree - Gilmour was alright. He wasn't Championship standard or anything, but he made a decent contribution in some poor Ayr teams. That's more than you can say about most of those he played alongside.

    If they were that bothered about avoiding relegation, they shouldn't have finished bottom. The fact that they have been attempting to use a worldwide pandemic that has killed hundreds of thousands of people as an excuse to avoid relegation is disgusting. Absolutely vile clubs.

    Apparently there was a "reserve list" in case anyone was unable to perform on the day. Big Country and Marillion were on that list, and I think they came out to sing in the choir.

    I absolutely adore Moffat and Geggan. I will be heartbroken if they leave. Geggan was a cult hero during his first spell, but IMO he transitioned into a fully fledged Ayr legend with that goal on his second debut. What a guy.

    My Papa used to smoke a pipe. I can't remember the last time I saw anyone smoking a pipe. I was thinking about getting one when I used to smoke. I never did get one though.
