  1. Liverpool are ridiculously good in my Arsenal save and have an iron death grip on English and European football. They routinely win league games by four or five goals and have a ridiculous goal difference of over 70 in January 2022. I am embroiled in a title race with them but they have managed to go three points clear of my Arsenal side after beating us 3-0 at Anfield. They're the only team I've lost to domestically this season as well, as they've beaten me twice. Title race far from over, but I'd be very surprised if Liverpool drop many points so every game is basically a must-win now.
  2. Walters taking us to EURO 2008. Can't wait.
  3. I had a good drive tonight. Starting to get to grips with the new car. It's a Mitsubishi Colt. It's quite a smooth drive. My experience of driving different cars is limited because this is only my second car, but it's quite a nice car to drive. Annoyingly the indicators and wipers are on the opposite sides to what I'm used so I've accidentally cleaned my windscreen while coming up to roundabouts a few times .
  4. I don't even drink when I'm not driving. I am out for a drive atm (obviously I'm parked right now!) and finding it a bit easier.
  5. In all seriousness I think it's just a combination of driving a car that I'm not used to and having not drove for a little while. It'll hopefully pass after I've drove to and from work a couple of times. In the meantime I'll keep being cautious and drive like I was taught to drive. I am still in contact with my instructor (he's a Killie fan so always rips me when Ayr lose!) and he suggested that it was probably these factors. I might pop out a drive shortly. I can't exactly avoid driving as it's required for work, so I might as well try to adapt.
  6. I watched that on youtube a few months ago. It was pretty funny. Anyway, I got dragged to see Cats in the cinema through my work. It was quite bad.
  7. Tonights club statement says that one of our first team squad has the virus and is now self isolating. Not good. I hope they get well soon!
  8. Hi all, I was in a car accident during the bad weather a few weeks back and wrote my old car off. No other vehicles were involved and I wasn't injured or anything, but it was a scary experience and I was very lucky to avoid injury. I got a new car on Saturday but I just cannot find any confidence in my own driving. I have always been a safe and considerate driver and managed to drive for 18 months before the accident without any negative incidents occurring. I don't know if it's just that I've had a few weeks without driving and need to get back into the groove or that I've got a new car to get used to, but I kind of feel like a learner again.
  9. In the FA Cup against a Port Vale side boasting ALOT of players who were originally playing in the Scottish leagues. They are a veritable Who's Who of Scottish diddy players. I am currently 6-0 up after 40 minutes. Edit: Make that 7-0.
  10. Oh, I have noticed some sort of bug were the CPU would occasionally bring on a sub, then sub that sub off a minute later, then sub the sub off a minute later again.
  11. Same, I'm struggling to get my wingers to play well to the extent that I've decided to just play without wingers. I've usually alternated between playing either a 532 or a 442 diamond. My first season at Arsenal was nearly Emery levels of bad as I struggled to implement my favoured 4231.
  12. I remember that. Did it not lead to accusations that they deliberately threw the league?
  13. Only people who have a vested interest in voiding the season think that it's a good idea. Everyone else thinks it's a stupid idea.
  14. I could see that happening to alot of clubs - outwith the Premiership and a couple of Championship clubs. Not many clubs can afford to pay wages indefinitely, especially without receiving the income from matchdays. Some sort of state of "dormancy" until a suitable time seems a pretty likely outcome. This is an unprecedented situation in the history of sport, and no "standard procedure" exists to outline how clubs deal with this unforseen lose of income. Obviously public health comes first, but this is potentially a serious problem for alot of clubs and their employees. I just hope that a satisfactory resolution is found. I heard about some kind of financial package for clubs being touted, but I'm not sure how much truth is in that.
  15. I like to call people by their early-noughties PES name. I make no apology for that.
