Actually it is even better than that. As Head of State but not Prime Minister, it is possible he would be assigned to purely ceremonial events and would not be expected to express his opinion in public ever again. It would certainly stop him appearing on Question Time again.

If any country wants him, they can have him. Good riddance.

IIRC the argument is that it might not contain sugar but it gives the impression it does. You then develop a craving for sugar and especially since your diet drink did not provide it. Thus you end up eating more sugary food than you would have otherwise.

Regarding smoking, if you sat on a park bench smoking a cigarette and staring at the sky, some people would think you were a cool dude just reflecting on life. If you did the same thing but without the cigarette they would regard you às a weirdo.

Even if the SNP got more coverage nobody is listening. Down in England Brexit has been linked to patriotism and it is seen as anti-British to complain about it at all. If it is something to be endured then so be it. I find that attitude bizarre. Brexit was not meant to be the equivalent of the blitz. It was meant to be the equivalent of V.E. Day.

I should have paid more attention to the Pizza Parlour. The museum has old wallpaper in a sealed unit (again the poison thing). Stonewall Jackson suffered the same fate as the casualties on Kiska. Incidentally the civil museum in Winchester indicated that it took a while for the two sides to agree to uniforms that were totally different and flags that were totally different.
