Poor lad. I wish him well - there's a good bit of talent in there.

When I clicked on that, the first thing that popped up was an advert with photos of young girls in bikinis. Thankfully I wasn't on the bus when I did. #yaauldperv

That is a fantastic design, far better than the 1st team. Regarding designs, what do any of you think re the update in the social club. I think it is awful.
Love it! A nice simple take on our brilliant traditional kit.
I'm all for a slightly bonkers away kit (and I loved the 'most historic strip'). The away kit should be adventurous but not over the top - a difficult balance I'm sure as they'll never please everyone. But whatever you do don't muck about with the hoops!
As for the social club, it's ok and is beginning to feel that it belongs to QP not just a bland bar but bring back the donor wall!

A real difficult one for us. United have something to prove after last week's result and we will be looking to continue our recent good run. It'spossibl;e for the Spiders to get a result here but United are not at the top by luck.
It's a tough outing for us and a win would be exceptional but I'll take a draw.

Superb business getting him tied down
Superb news. Despite the 'advice' from some Morton fans, he is still the best keeper in the Championship.

As stated above, I can see us losing this game. We're off the back of our cup high and with a bad day at the office overdue. Davidson has stabilised things well and was a sound choice as manager, although in stark contrast to the shan philosophy being peddled this time twelve months ago.
Obviously we have the capacity to win but I'd be fine with a draw too. A win at home to Airdrie next week is the real key to consolidating our play-off prospects.
I don't have great hopes for us either but it is one where we could really pull together and get a result. Right now, I'd take a draw as you guys are well established as our bogey team!
Should be a good game either way.

Never trust a highlight video on YouTube, Steven Eze's made him look like Maldini in his prime.
But he was! One of the best disallowed goals the world had ever seen.

Josh Hinds signed up, was last at Hull city. Seems to be a winger as his preferred position but can play across the whole frontline. I’d imagine it’s a low risk signing and it’s good to see we’ve got the option of extending his deal beyond the end of the season if he performs well
I'm happy with this - a young guy that adds another option up front. The option to extend at the end of the season also a plus. He made a couple of first team appearances for Hull against Bournemouth and Everton.

I hope you're right but I'm not so sure about the solid. I think Tizzard has still got mistakes in his game and likely be punished by better teams than Dunfermline. The thought of him up against Oakley on Saturday is giving me the fear
I don't know - he was really excellent against Caley (close to being my man of the match). It could be that Davidson has found a much better role for his style of play. Only time will tell but he's come on really well over the last few weeks. It will be interesting to see what happens when Wilson comes into the team.

Did Dunfermline announce the away attendance? Always hard to estimate when you’re sitting in it.
The match report on their website said 192 away supporters.

FWIW we’ll make far more money with the new stand than without it. Thats worth more than people thinking it’s a great old fashioned stadium. Home fans will still be able to stand on what’s left of the North Terrace and in the SRE.
Well done on getting more money put of the fans with your new stand. The comment, however, was about the good old days of terracing which, despite the progress in stadiums, many fans will always miss. (And the ability to build a decent stand in a reasonable timescale.)

FWIW I think Ayr’s new “stand” looks pretty rubbish tbh. Losing what I remember to be a big chunk of reasonably iconic terracing at Somerset and replacing it with hospitality space. One step towards the Lego-fication of Somerset Park, I’m afraid.
Couldn't agree more - the terracing at Ayr was a thing on beauty, a remnant of the halcyon days of Scottish football, of atmosphere, banter and good pies. However, as far as building of stands go, they're clearly much better at it than QP.

Definitely tight again this year. The championship is a bonkers league - and probably the best league for excitement as it tends to stay competitive throughout the season. So, here is my take which as you can see is not based on any objective fact whatsoever.
Dundee Utd the get automatic promotion - because they're probably the best team in the league but have still had some strange results this season.
Partick to reach the play-offs again - because they're from Glasgow and that must mean something (especially if you're not one of the ugly sisters).
Arbroath to go down automatically - because their squad is so small and for them to get a decent run together without further injuries is unlikely.
So who's in the other play-off spot. Ourselves, Ayr, Caley seem to be the likely contenders. It can't be QP because we're from Glasgow and ... (see above); Caley are a really disappointing team. They're currently my local team (for my sins) and, TBH, any time I've seen them they have been pretty dire; Ayr come and go so can't be discounted from 9th place. I'll go for Ayr to fill the play-off spot because they're building a much better new stand than we were able to do (and we had three times longer to do it in).

Just watched Joshua Scott's post-match interview. Sounds & looks like a tough b*****d. I like him haha
I liked the guy. Hadn't a clue what to expect from him but he fitted in well for a bloke that just turned up the other day. Could be a great signing!

How was Hepburn for you guys? Heard he seems to be doing okay with the Austrian team he is currently with. Scored a goal that’s got them to semi final of a national cup there
There's a good player in there somewhere, I think, but he was not strong enough for the Championship - a season or two in league one might have managed to get more out of him.

Dom was excellent today - I also think Will Tizzard had a good innings. In general we were fairly solid at the back forcing Highland Thistle to shoot (if that's the right word) from outside the box. Cal didn't need to make too many saves but, as ever, he still kept us in the game.
Three wins out of the last four games is a step in the right direction - keep it up lads.

Well that result was totally unexpected and that goes for QP fans too as they hardly showed on the thread before the game, looks like the new signed subbed players will take time to settle into the Scottish game.
TBF, Sandy, there wasn't much comment from anyone, never mind the Queen's fans. Nerves about how the season will end, I suppose.

I was there and it doesn't seem like 30 years ago! Have I been up here that long?

Nah, sent off. A yellow (that should never have been) and then a second yellow for a really stupid foul.

Are you guys confident if getting to 40 points which always gets quoted as the water line.
It won't be easy but I do think it's possible. There's a new positivity about the place just now so we just need to plug on. Caley on Saturday will be interesting - shame Welsh will be out.

It's a shame for Highland Thistle - they never really captured to hearts of the Inverness public. The merger between Inverness Thistle and Caledonian FC didn't go that well, the Stadium is a soulless place in a crap location and that, coupled with crap club management is a difficult situation to get out of.
